Denny's — Restaurant in Pasadena

Food was decent but service was horrible They sat us in the ONLY booth in front of the bar which only contains 4 seats and only one person was at the tiny bar ... And 8 mins pass and nobody got out drinks ... And then a random person ask did anyone help u ... I said no and she said she worked at the bar and wasn't our server ...ok... she gets our order and drinks and my boyfriend finishes his drink and he starts drinking mine because nobody gave us a refill after like 15 mins he finished his drink and then we finish our food and we wait a good 20 mins waiting for anybody to get our dessert order and so I just go to the bar and ask somebody to get my order put of the 10 servers that are at the bar ! ... like out that of all those people nobody could attend us ? We had no server ... So unorganized ...

Update : went back again my family invited me had a server named Christian and bless him I'm a server myself so I tried to understand why our service was poor and every little thing we didn't want to tell him bc we felt like we were giving him a hard time ... he gave a two yr old a cup with no lid and she kept spilling it on herself when we tried to help drink it we asked for to go cups and we never got them .... she was soaking wet and we asked for her sides of apple slices first ( 15 mins pass ) and she was upset and crying and a nice lady gave her cracker and my grandma came and order coffee and 10 mins pass and he comes asking if we needed coffee refills and my grandma sitting there like " really ?? " we had to ask someone else for her coffee ... and we asked for 3 extra eggs and he forgot ... and when the food comes out I asked for medium steak and got basically rare and asked for it to be cooked just a bit and got well done.... and then we see a piece of weird washing material in the kids mac and cheese at that point we didnt say anything bc we didnt want free kid mac and cheese we just wanted to leave and asked for everyone to be together .... youd think thats be end but no we pay and then he comes around to bring my grandmother her check 5 mins later after we paid and we were confused ??? He couldnt even put the checks...

Well first off I would like to let this Danny's that I'm actually from the opposite side of town. I traveled 45 min here because there is no Danny's near me. My experience has been the worst ever, I will never come back to this Danny's again. First off we walked in and were greeted and sat down- which was ok but only to wait 25 min for someone to see we were there. Then we were given a child's menu because I have a 7 year old, well we all know how kids are and we were given 2 Orange colors, when my husband went to ask the lady at the cashier if we could please have a different color she said no because she was just behind the counter, my husband immediately asked is she could then call someone that could help him, when he told her that she came down the counter grabbed a color and almost shoved it in his hands. My husband was so upset, I think that if you like your job and your around people then you would try to help them even with the small things plus that would make people feel welcome and you would have more business and more money as far as tips. Well our food came out, we have eggs, French toast, hash, spaghetti, mash, well my French toast were cold and the batter was not even cooked all the way, you could literally still see the mix. My child's spaghetti was hard and cold so that was a waste. To end this there service was so slow they forgot about everyone out here, but only to find out that they were celebrating a workers birthday in the back, we were all looking for our servers and they were enjoying there self instead of there customer. I'm sorry that there are people that don't care about others and I really hope that maybe someone cares enough to manage this Dennys...

Very BAD service!!! On mothers day I went to this Denny's first off we had to seat our self's because no one was there in the front my 3 kids and mom sat done at a booth and a waiter/Manager (Edith Jacobs) comes up to us and says umm y'all can not sit here we asked why she said its a FIRE HAZARD we said ok can you seat us at a table we can sit at? She says well you would have to wait till these people are done for a big table now let me tell you it was 9:pm when we went not very lot of people and one side was closed off my mom asked for a Manager then she rolled her eyes and said Im the manager. looking soooo un-professional with a big hickey on the left side of her neck that was big it looked like someone punched her. But that is not what got me mad what got me mad and upset is when we asked if she would rather lose a customer then to seat us she shrugged her shoulders and said there's nothing I can do about that and try to get loud with my mom smh she is lucky I didn't swing on her for that! I kept my cool and just asked for corp. # she went to the back after 15mins she came back on the phone then said I was looking for the # it should be up here on top of that she gave me the wrong #!
