The food was fine as to be expected but the one and only waitress at 4am seemed as though she didn't have the patience to be at all close to warm nor welcoming. Both my friend and I had woken up early to catch the train to get to our early class in citrus so I'm not sure if it was our clothing or how tired we may have seemed, but she immediately treated us as if we were only there to loiter and had no intentions of making us a priority of hers when we were the only ones there. We were both ready to order as soon as we were sat but she basically ran to go and do something else . After waiting what felt like 10 minutes but was probably 4-5 which felt forever considering how hungry we were, she suddenly turned into a bright bubbly talkitive social butterfly when the next group of guys came in. I'm a server myself so I was in shock by the difference in service or the lack of that we never noticed. After she took care of their drinks, she then came to us, where she took our order as if it had been the first time she had seen chicken strips and a sampler trio, ever. She had me point out the item on the menu and read it to her, then casually went to the only cook to see if they still had those... Once the order was placed , I asked for hot sauce after she offered ketchup which I accepted. She comes back with my order only to ask again if I wanted ketchup, I said yes that, ranch and hot sauce with nothing but absolute respect. She comes back with nothing but to tell me that the hot sauce tossed in the chicken tenders are already spicy enough however I had to brake it down that I wanted the ketchup that she offered ,the ranch that comes with the order and please for some hot sauce on the side. She finally did and that was that. It really seemed like an act, the way she treated my friend and I in comparison to how animated she was with the following group. Once I was finished, I was never offered a refill on water even though I heard her multiple times offer to other group some. When I was ready to order an extra order of fries to split with my friend , she told me that fries are not unlimited or free refills, which I understand and had already made clear so I did it again with nothing but respect and asked her for one more order of fries please . She then went to the cook and asked if they offered unlimited fries and made it seem like we were there to mooch or get as much as we could when this was the opposite of the case. Once I finally received fries, she didn't bother to clean the table but instead reach completely over us to leave the fries in the one empty part of the table where there was barely enough space... She then offered water and poored it across the table with her arm in my face and over all of my food/fries.... She left without taking anything back with her so it was pretty annoying to eat considering her lack of care or inexperience. I was very patient with her, smiled and pretended to be very happy with her but it was all of these minor/small things that truly made the whole experience unpleasant. However the other group was having a wonderful morning with her the entire time but wasn't able to look or stand by us for more than 30 seconds. Everything that was said seemed to be a problem or an exaggerated remark from her. Both my friend and I had on PJ's, messy hair and our backpacks which makes me assume that that was the reason why she treated us like so. She didn't even acknowledge my friend to the point I ordered for him. Being the server that I am, I believe tips make the world go round but I will never throw money to someone who doesn't even slightly go out of their way to pretend to care or make me feel welcome. After we got our check, we rested there for the next train and studied a bit just for her to be staring at me the entire time until I went up to her and gave her the exact cash and change to the order... I smiled and said thank you , which wasn't even returned. I don't have enough space to keep going but on her way out she told us to stay warm with a very...
Read moreI would give ZERO stars if I could. I GENUINELY FELT ATTACKED BY GLORIA. I'm in the booth as I update this. GLORIA asks for the women to get their orders first. This is 2019 and that is discrimination against males. Anyways,My friend ordered the simple and fit menu and asked to replace the toast for two pancakes, willing to pay for the difference, GLORIA humiliates him and tells him, with sass, "well, that's why it's called 'fit' so pancakes wouldn't fall under that". I ask her for my order, chicken and waffles and GLORIA doesn't ask me for a sauce so I ask for it myself. GLORIA asks me VERY RUDELY "do you have a problem" and I tell her that I am because of the previous reasons. GLORIA basically called my friend out and embarrassed him for trying to put something that SHE didn't classify as "fit" with his meal. When I mentioned that I found her asking for the women to go first, she, GLORIA said "oh, you're one of those" with the feminism activism. And GLORIA said that she would be flattered if a man let her order first and I told her that I'm the customer and I'm not her. GLORIA said that I was rude and that's a reflection of MY PARENTS?! Really? THIS is who you have And then she has the audacity to hand me the mug for my coffee with lipstick stains all over it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. GLORIA IS PETTY AND THE ENTIRE NIGHT SHE GAVE ME MY DRINK last out of the four in my table. She didn't even put my plate down she handed it to the person next to me. Does he get paid for that? I don't think so. GLORIA should not be up front in customer service.
ALSO CHECK THE FOOTAGE AT 10:45-10:55 pm 03/02 GLORIA is LITERALLY TALKING ABOUT ME, POINTING AND MAKING EYE CONTACT IN MY DIRECTION AS SHE IS GOSSIPING TO ANOTHER TABLE ABOUT THE INCIDENT. GM GERARDO DIAZ ISNT...
Read moreTo the General Manager, (edited ) I'm truly honestly embarrassed for your franchise. Your service is absolutely below par. I stood waiting to be sat, no one even appeared to be working. A fellow customer said as I stood, "There's one guy working. It's slow." Your host was playing the role of both host and server, I dont assume buser because there was clearly trash all over the floor and tables. I can't even call him a gentlemen, your server had a strong thick accent with a bad attitude and extremely rude. I came in with a a smile and this guy was just rude from the moment he noticed me. You don't want to love your job but at least smile! He arrived with no ice in my drink. When he arrived with my order, I mentioned there's no ice. I got a annoyed, "You wanted ice?" I responded annoyingly, Uh yes?
Two ladies in front of me asked for a coffee. He said the last fresh cup was three hours old. Are you serious?
The meat on my burger did not taste fresh or even warm. I didn't want to deal with this guy again, this truly felt like a joke of a experience. I asked to speak to a GM when I left. He said it's just the cook and I. You need to give your "server" training or some coaching. He is not a real server. Not once did he ask how is everything. My order was literally slammed on the table and left. Never asked if i wanted condiments, had to steal from the other table.Nothing was refilled. What if i wanted more items? Terrible experience and you need the health department to check your...
