Petco has been doing pretty decent since the pandemic started, they have been doing their best to have stock of food products for my pets, I was happy to have been able to at least find some dry kibble for my kittens, but bummed out that they still have Zero Wet food cans for them. I like the Royal Canin brand but because the company can't seem to meet the supply and Demand, I had to switch over to Blue Buffalo which is also a pretty good brand. My kittens seem to like the blue Buffalo Chicken flavor wet food more then the Royal Canin chicken flavor Wet food. Over all I give them a 4 star out of 5 for not having what I needed, I shopped at 3 petco stores and neither of them had the Wet food cans, 1 store didn't even have Kitten food at all Wet or dry. Overall I still shop here because it's only 3 miles away from my home. Update: 9/27/2022 things are starting to improve. There are still some shelves that are empty but I was able to find a case of wet food for my cats which left me satisfied overall. Again like I mentioned before. These pet store chains are doing their best to stock up as much as possible but I wish they could do better and also bring back some of the old brands that they decode to stop carrying because they were considered junk food. Makes it hard to shop even though I have a petco credit card for my pets. But since I found what I needed for the month I'll change my star rating from 4 to 5 stars. Update: 9/26/2023 I was surprised to see no freshstep litter. I wasn't able to buy litter but i was able to get 2 out of 3 cats their dry food so thats good i guess. Not sure if we are going through another pandemic limitation or not. Just find it weird that even the dry food from blue Buffalo had a limited supply on the shelf.

1-1 Training with Emily is the best decision you can make as a new pet owner! After just rehoming my giant schnauzer, I brought him to this Petco location to pick up last minute items for his comfort. I was greeted by Emily, who quickly introduced herself to my 2-yr-old dog, and he responded in a positive and relaxed way to her approach. After a friendly interaction, we learned that she works as a dog trainer at this location, and we signed up for 1-1 weekly classes. Emily was able to teach us how to train our new family member, and how to adjust our dispositions to make him more comfortable. We tell everyone about Emily because she truly was the difference maker. Having a dog shouldn’t be work so much as it is having fun, and she really helped bring that out in our family. Highly recommend.

The staff is always friendly and helpful! I’ve done grooming and training her numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The grooming is always top tier, a bit on the pricey end but you get what you pay for. The dogs are also well taken care of and the grooming area is never over saturated. The puppy training experience was top tier. Robert was a great trainer! He genuinely loves the dogs he works with and has so much patience and knowledge. I was able to get the whole puppy training class package for around $100. Totally worth it! I took my rat terrier when she was a couple months old and she’s so well socialized now and does well with basic commands like sit, stay, come, down, etc.

Adam and Nick are very rude. Instead of correcting themselves on how they messed up on my points (which equals money) they, lied about a employee's existence, how their system doesn't work and how they're fascist. I go to this location a lot because, I rescue and donate a lot to animal shelters. It's also the nearest one to me. I started noticing that my points weren't always being add up. If I wanted to use my points, they would say I didn't have any points to use on my purchase. Yesterday, I got ten dollars worth of points. I wanted to use them today, but Nickolas said I had zero points. Nick also said that he couldn't see my points on the computer, and that he needed to see my Petco app to redeem them. That confused me. He could tell on the recepit that I had zero points so, that was wrong. I told Nick that the app doesn't really work to upload my points, but I don't really need the app to do that. He agreed with me that the app doesn't work, but he made it clear that it works for points. We'll, I wasn't going to download a useless app for points. I told Nick that a young lady with short hair whom rang me up twice saw my points, and one of the times she said it accidentally deleted my points on the computer in front of her eyes. She than went to the register to get a five dollar coupon for me as an apology. I told Nickolas that she could see my points. In fact, most employees tell me and ask me if I want to use my points. Most of the time I save them. Today, I wanted to use them and I couldn't, because Nick didn't want to do his job. Nick went from saying I wasn't a member, that girl never worked there, and it was another store that I went to. Nick was talking down to me, and disrespectful to my husband and I by calling us liars just for points. Finally, Nick told me to call customer service so they can help me with my points. I was informed that I do have points and it's fifteen dollars worth. I called the store back to tell them that their system was not working right. I also wanted to talk to the manager to see if he or she can talk to Nick about how he comes across to customers. Adam got the phone and said he was the manager. I recalled Adam since I saw him yelling at a customer a few weeks ago. Stating to said customer that he was the manager. I told him I was mad about everything Nick said to me. Also, how they should look up the computer situation. He, in a rude tone told me their systems were fine. Seems like Adam and Nick had a conversation about me and about the situation, that BTW they have it on their cameras how Nick was rude and condescending to me. Adam asked me again which girl I was talking about. I told him how she looked like he said, "She isn't a She. SHE preferred to be called a he, or them." I explained that She looked like a She, talked to me like a She and giggle like a She. So, I thought he was a she. I'm not going to be playing the guessing games of gender I'm there to spend MONEY and shop. Everything else isn't my business. Adam got upset, because I told him I thought it was a she. Adam said that I have to respect his preferred gender and started yelling at me. I told Adam he will NOT be demanding me how to talk, believe ANYTHING. So, instead of correcting me of said employee's preferred gender they made it seem I was crazy, and confused about a person that doesn't exist. I told Adam that I Nick was treating us bad and that I never seen Nick before. I told Nick this, and Nick's back handed response was that he never seen us either. We go almost everyday. I've known Heather, Ed, Matt, and Jose. Jose is very nice, great guy great employee. I've really never seen Nick. I told him to talk to Nick about his attitude. Adam is trying to bully me and tried to control my beliefs and what I saw was a female or a boy. Now, I don't think Adam knows this, but I'm sure it's against Petco employees policy to not bully, harrass people for their religious, political, disability, gender and other beliefs. Adam did that to me. I called corporate and reported this incident. I will be talking to my...

I have a high energy large dog who loves people, but I have standards and don’t allow him to jump or take treat for doing things that shouldn’t be rewarded. We’re very knowledgeable pet owners so we’ve equipped tools (martingale collar) so he can correct himself and so we can communicate with him the behavior that is okay.

September 13, 2025//3PM - The problem lies with the staff that “treated him”. We were in the lobby heading into the room, the intern vet tech hands me a slip lead sized for a small dog then proceeds to ask “is he agresssive?”. The vet tech’s body language looks uncertain and uncomfortable, my wife and I tell the intern, “No he is not aggressive, just has high energy”. My pup gets up to follow because he’s excited and has always had great experiences at the vet. As soon as we are up to follow us and he sees my dog excited he asks us if he’s going to need a muzzle, we deny the inquiry. Anyone who is knowledgeable of dog body language in a pet could tell this situation was perfectly fine, KEYWORD :KNOWLEDGEABLE!

Our pup was set to get his blood drawn, NO BIGGIE, They usually will take him to the back to handle all vaccinations in the past which he always does well and comes back super quick but No. They never introduced themselves or their names, The Senior intern tech decides to take his blood in the room with us. Let me school you on something, Most vets know not to poke or do anything invasive to an animal in the same room as the owners to have a better experience for pet parents and controllable safe environment for the staff. The Scary younger intern attempts to restrain my dog by squeezing him and push him towards the wall, the Senior vet tech tells my wife to give our peanut butter while she attempts to draw the blood. The situation already is tense for my pup, and I commend him for his patience because she stuck him twice before getting anything. After that fiasco, I’m visible upset trying to keep my composure so I don’t make my pet even more uncomfortable by confronting the staff on their unethical approach they shoo us away and tell us to wait 10minutes for the results. My wife waited for the results so me and my pup could go to the car.

I’m outraged from the UNPROFESSIONAL and UNETHICAL approach!! The high inquiry of other patients waiting is why we were rushed out the door, which extremely indecent. I would NEVER COME BACK, HIS COMFORT is all I care about, I’m sure other pet parent with high energy, reactive, anxious, or whatever personality would hate to put their pet into a compromising...
