MILO Cafe & Organic Juicery — Restaurant in Pasadena

So the food was decent but that’s about all the positive things I can say. First off there’s double doors that every person would go to and they’re locked with no signage stating where to go. The waitress sees us trying to figure it out and says nothing and makes no eye contact. No customer service. I ordered a drink from the sign right in front of the cashier and she has no idea it’s even a drink. I asked whats in it and she said there’s no coffee only for there to be decaf in it. I asked if they had vegan milks she said no,just almond and oat milk. Our food took at least 30 minutes. We asked for waters and did not get them until about 20 minutes in. My brother ordered coffee and he said it was really burnt. The restroom has a million bottles of cleaners and yet the toilet is broken and it smells like mold and mildew. Not so great experience today. My husband and I discovered this cute cafe 3 weeks ago. We have been coming consistently since and the quality had been great overall, I wanted to call this our new brunch spot, however today the quality of the food was terrible. We both ordered the breakfast bowl and both of our eggs were very Overcooked. Also I ordered a iced latte and the gentleman working there put so much syrup in my iced coffee that I had to throw it in the trash. I spent well over $40 today and I was so disappointed with everything. I won’t be coming back. We placed our order at 1pm and they close at 2pm, it seems as if they were so ready to close that they didn’t care about the quality of the food- in this case I would’ve preferred them to tell me it’s too late to order instead of giving me...

Milo cafe is a nice brunch spot in north pasadena (above the 210 freeway). Overall, the food was good and service was friendly (I think we had 4 different servers check up on us). The chef accidentally made a mistake on the pancakes we ordered (accidentally put only bananas instead of bananas + chocolate chips), so they let us keep the banana pancakes plus made us a new order. That was a nice gesture.

I ordered the milo breakfast burrito. At $9.50, it was a little pricey but tasted good. I also thought it was a little small. I also asked for hashbrowns inside but it had chunks of potato instead, so I think there's probably miscommunication between the servers and the chef.

I also ordered a cortado which was really good.
