Angie’s is a delightful little corner spot in Passaic that you should absolutely check out. The food is delicious, the prices are very fair, and the people are incredibly nice—what more could you ask for in a neighborhood gem? I always go for the tacos and tamales, and they never disappoint. The tacos are priced just right and are consistently good; I have zero complaints about the value or the taste. The tamales are equally fantastic. On my last visit, I had requested two of the same, but ended up with one of each, and honestly, that was totally okay because they are both good! There might be a slight language barrier during ordering, but the staff is so kind that we always make it work without issue, and it doesn't detract from the experience at all. I usually come to this restaurant for they’re quality and cheap food. I usually order like 6 or 7 tacos and it would usually come out to 8 or 9 dollars. For they’re cheap tacos, they’re quality of food is spot on. You get fresh condiments, fresh meat, and fresh salsa verda and rojo. I would spend my money in this place rather than a fast food chain. Where everything is frozen and pre made food. Every time I would eat there tacos it would always remind me of my moms cooking. It’s hard for me to say that, but some how it does.

I am so disappointed in this place. Unfortunately I will no longer go here even though i have been coming here for many years. The food isn’t as good and it’s always bland now. I have placed various orders online and the app tells me to wait 15-30 minutes. I like to wait an hour to pick up since I don’t like to wait. Wellll when i go an hour later i get told it’s not ready and have to wait even more. I have waited an extra 30 minutes, ridiculous!!! So you have to wait an hour and a half to get something so simple like tacos, a torta or even pozole. I do not recommend this place...
