I will never go into a Tim Hortons ever after what happened to me today. Today Sunday September 8, 2024 I went to the Tim Hortons at 105 East Broad Street in Pataskala, Ohio. My intention was to buy a dozen dounuts and a couple of coffees for my stepdaughters’ birthday. I was told to get a sprinkled donut so we could put a candle in it. I got to Tim Hortons at around 11:15am. The lady asked for my order. I told her I would like a dozen donuts and a couple of large black coffees. The lady gave me my total and I paid it. She then went and got me a box of prepackaged donuts. As she went to get my coffees I checked the box to see if there was a sprinkled donut in the box. There was not. At this point I figured I would buy one separately since the box looked to be already packed. When the lady came back with my coffee I asked to buy a sprinkled donut that was in the front of the glass case ( there was a full row of them along with other donuts that were in the case ). They lady said the donuts in the case are not for sale and that they are all out of the sprinkled donuts. I asked why she won’t sell me the ones that are in the case. The young lady says they have been in there since 6am and they probably would not be any good. I told her I was buying it to put a candle in for a birthday surprise. I told her we would not eat it. The lady still refused. I then asked if they are not for sale why are they still out. The lady said nothing. I then asked for a carrier for my coffee. The young lady went and got one for me. The young lady then said to take the sleeves off the coffee before I put them in the carrier then walks away. At this point I put my coffee in the carrier and start to walk out. As I open the door to leave the restaurant I hear the lady ( I was the only one in the restaurant at this point ) say, “ AND DON’T BE ROLLING YOUR EYES AT ME.” I immediately re-entered the restraunt and said “ What he hell did you just say?” The young lady looked away and ignored me. I then said to the other workers I want to talk to a manager. Another young lady in a red Tim Hortons shirt comes up and tells me to calm down and leave. I asked the young lady in the red shirt if she was the manager. She would not say. All she said was “ YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW. GET OUT !” At this point another young lady steps up and says she is the manager. I, at this point, ask her how she can let employees she manages act like this towards customers. The manager said she was sorry and that she would talk to the employee? At this point I know nothing is going to get done and start to walk out AGAIN………….until a young, blond haired, tattooed young man ( who was also working at this restaurant ) starts barking at me telling me to “ GET MY ASS OUT OF HERE!” Never even seeing this young man prior to all of this I come back to the counter and ask him what his problem is. He starts throwing what looks like gang signs at me and starts laughing at me. I tell him if he wants to be like that I am ready for whatever he has. The manager then says to me “ PLEASE JUST GO. I AM VERY SORRY!” I then left the building.
I have never been so upset at treatment from a restaurant worker in my life. I am not only upset at the lack of customer service I am more upset at the confrontation by the entire crew that was working that morning. Pull the tape. You will see everything that happened. I can tell you I will never ever go into a Tim Hortons again. I was a regular there because my wife likes your coffee. For Christmas I would always buy my wife a $100.00 gift card to Tim Hortons so she could get coffee at any time. Now, I will not only not step foot in Tim Hortons again, my wife said she wont either. And, many of our friends go to this location in Pataskala. Unless something is done about what happened yesterday I will make sure the majority of the people in Pataskala that we know are made aware of the treatment that they may get.
Feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience i’ve ever had with food service. Not only does the service suck (except for barb) the food is mid and is always wrong. I order the same drink every time (iced capp no whip) it has ALWAYS had whip cream. A few weeks ago i ordered 3 loaded scrambled egg wraps, i pull up to the window and get handed a bag. I start looking through the bag to make sure everything is okay while I wait for my drink to be handed to me. One of the female workers yells at me from inside the restaurant “it’s all in there you don’t have to look.” So i stopped looking, got my drink and went to work. As soon as I get to work I noticed that she had given me 3 snack wraps. The scrambled egg wraps are almost 8$ and i got a 2$ snack wrap. I was furious because she had yelled at me that it was right and it wasn’t. So I drove back. When I got there I went inside and explained to them the situation and the same girl started yelling that I ordered those. It was a mobile order, I had an email and the app receipt proving her she was wrong. As Barb was making my new wraps for me I see the same girl standing behind talking about me to the other employees. I have never been that appalled at someone’s lack of customer service and absolutely was disgusted. I a manger at a retail store in Pataskala and would never let any of my employees talk or act like that to a customer. Another incident I had was a few days ago when I again ordered a scrambled egg wrap. Went through the drive through and they handed me 2 cream filled croissants. So I pull around and go inside and while they are remaking my wrap, I notice he’s making it completely wrong. They literally have a sheet telling you how to make things and I had to personally tell an employee how to make it. Absolutely ridiculous that I have to teach someone when I don’t even work their. I believe he was new but he was left by himself to do this. He needed to be trained and helped. The other incident happened today. My boyfriend and I go there around 12 and they have the small amount of breakfast items that the offer all day. You’d think since you offer these items all day you would stay well stocked up on them, you’d be wrong. I order a sausage egg and cheese croissant and she informs me that there is a 7 minute wait on the sausage and I tell her that’s okay. My boyfriend attempts to order a sausage biscuit and they are completely out of biscuits. When I pull up to window and pay they tell us to pull to the front of the store to wait the remainder of the 7 minutes for my sausage. 30 minutes go by…are you freaking serious. So now i’m late to work. My boyfriend heads inside and asks what is going on. They have no croissants and forgot we were even out there. This place is undeniably the most unprofessional and ridiculous place I go to. There’s no other Tim Hortons near us so i’m stuck with crappy service or over...
Read moreWe love the Pataskala location and always have a wonderful experience! People complain about the wait when they arrive at 9am, the prime time busy hour in the morning and that drives me crazy! We go almost every morning and some mornings are better than others but that's just how it goes. Matt is our favorite team member and he always greets us with a smile even when it's super busy. Keep up the good work!
1/11/15: Unfortunately we have to update our review since the selling of the store this summer. Since the time of the sale, the staff has changed and not for the better. The new management Patty is terrible and does not know how to manage her staff at all. She is always nice to us because we are always nice to her but she treats others including customers with no respect and she gets no respect in return. The facility is dirty all the time and now never operates on time, even during slow times and the building is not even being maintained, with the lighting on the building being out now for months. The store is now full of very incompetent staff and our every morning visits are now down to maybe twice a week, we now get our morning coffee at McDonalds. We are very saddened by this and unless change is made will tell our friends not go as well.
