2000 — Restaurant in Paterson

I don’t know. I heard good stuff about this restaurant, but when I went in there, it smelled like dirty mop. That was the first red flag. I should’ve never ordered the food But anyways, proceeded to order rice with Gandules…. Horrible…. the rice was hard as hell. I should’ve never proceeded with the rest, but I continued. Then I got a potato salad that tasted like straight vinegar so you could tell it was there for a good two or three weeks. If you know the food is old. Why do you even have the audacity to sell it? If I could give a negative star, I would because the smell and then the food. Straight trash. I called to speak with the owner. Supposedly, she’s on vacation. Whoever answer...

I’ve eaten from here multiple times, more breakfast than lunch or dinners regardless; their food is amazing! The mangu is to die for. Will keep ordering, not sure why this place would even get one bad review. The staff is friendly...
