Elsa La Reina Del Chicharrón — Restaurant in Paterson

Dirty very dirty place. 40 minutes into waiting on my order I walked out. there were 3 customersn The lady prepared parts of each order making all of us wait. What i observed while waiting made me leave...food EVERYWHERE literally a big mess. Counters covered in food and dirty plates. Things hanging over the food...the lady touched money counted out change for a $50 and then used her same BARE HANDS to add ice to 4 cups the same hand to prepare and pack orders. Kept answering her phone kept using the same utensils for different foods. I'm surprised she didn't lick her fingers and taste the food while preparing it. There was no fish in site but there was an awful fishy odor lingering..I just can't believe so many trays of food were open and uncovered with her and all her hair reaching over and throwing things back up on the shelves over the food. Food in the back is thrown all over too. Health dept needs to be called asap...this whole place is...

I waited over 30 minutes for a chicharron food order…I watched two slow women working like they had all day for food that should have been prepared THIS MORNING!!! Teaneck restaurant would NEVER drag there feet like this! Unprofessional and not like my Latina Establishment that I grew up around. I’m a Door Dasher, that made less than $8 waiting for a meal that should have been prepared. Empty spot…definitely not like any Spanish restaurant!!! And I grew up in the BRONX!!! My family is Latin so miss me with I’m racist.

People that play with people time that’s working for pennies should just SHUT THE DOORS!!!! I’m embarrassed to deliver something so late because it’s always the black person fault when we are late but I promise you THIS WAS OUT OF MY HANDS...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Nastiest food in my life. Everything was burnt. Nothing had any taste absolutely no flavor at all. The people inside the restaurant were too busy talking to each other instead of tending to the line of customers standing there server looked me straight in my eye shrugged her shoulders and kept talking. I ordered over the phone they said 25 min for pickup I got there in 45 min and my food still wasn’t ready waited another 20 min for the employees to stop chatting and finish my food. Complete waste of...
