I'm giving the restaurant one star bc the waiter was very nice the employees were nice and the atmosphere was good . I wish I could give it more stars but honestly after two times being over charged . If I or my partner wouldn't have noticed I would have been charged double the amount ! I brought it to the attention of the server and he apologized and went to change it . I saw that the manager was helping resolve the issue . I had asked for 2 double shots and it read 3 double shots total 68$ another read 3 double shots 78$. It seemed off . Manager didn't bother to come and say anything. Ok fine . I was closing my table bc I have been to many restaurants were they lose track of ur drink count and start over charging so I decided to close it and start over . My total before it was charged was 208$ after it was fixed it was 108$ ! They add the tip which was 17$ which was fine but I decided to pay card 108$ and I tipped him 40$ . Ok so than I ordered 3 double shots which I was told were 16 each . Handed him 60$ he comes back and tells me that they ran out of what we were drinking . And that if we wanted I could pay 30$ extra for a different tequila . We are 108$ in of drinking 1800 tequilla . And bc they don't have any that want me to pay the difference . !! When this is a bar!! That should have it . If you know this place it's on 21st Ave theirs liquor stores in every corner . ! So the server sends the manager over and he really didn't say anything just said the truck for liqour delieveries didn't come . Whatever . Offers us 3 reg. Shots of some cheap house tequila . 20 min later pass . Server came back . I told him can u have my 60$ back . He apologized again. So later on we decided to order another round of double shots this time 3 ! My partner asked for the bill to close and his check is 83$ he's confused I'm confused . The shots are 8$ each since their are house tequilla . The total was 49$ plus tax plus another 20 and change tip ! Again . I'm explaining to the server. Why should I have to pay tip again when I had just tipped him 40$. So I asked to speak to the manager . I'm TRYING to explain to him that I will pay the 60ish$ on the card but I will not give him another 20$ tip ! When I had already given it to him . He keeps telling me that he can't do anything about it . Being very dismissive . Told me in the end that he will only charge me 60ish$ . I said ok and than this morning I was charged the full 80ish$. !!! I really wish that my experience here would've been better especially since we spent over 300$ of just 3 ppl . Just make sure u check ur checks before u pay . !! Just a warning about this place ! The manager just seemed bothered by me . ! The men's bathroom was completely flooded . I don't think I will ever go their again ! Disappointed . I was recommended to come here and celebrate my birthday ! Wasn't the experience I was hoping for ! We were sitting by the bar ! And ended up just going to the bar for drinks and closing the tab Everytime . Wish places would be more honest to their customers were they don't need to worry about being...

I went to Hornitos on a Saturday night and it was a good time. Good music, drinks, ordered a couple of apps. We left early but you can tell this place gets fun later in the night. Overall good experience that time.

However, I decided to go for brunch soon after that and it was my biggest regret! We got there around 2pm and we were the only ones there! We were told they had just opened and were setting up- how did you just open at 2pm for brunch? It was supposed to be bottomless but in the 90 minutes that we were there our drinks got refilled twice. We were only two people, and no one else was in the place. So, really no excuse as to why we didn't receive decent service. Might have been because the servers were sitting at another table eating their own lunch and had no regard for us whatsoever! What did it for us was that tip was already included in the bill and we didn't realize until after we left. At least a 22% tip was included!!! Honestly, we just ran out of that place and didn't look at our bill thoroughly. It's sad because this place was great my first time there and has great potential but I'll definitely not come back especially with better brunch options...

Be aware of incorrect pricing on the bill!!!

This place has a great atmosphere and big screens to enjoy sports. We were there last night for the Colombia game and I witnessed TWICE within a few minutes, the servers trying to charge incorrect prices to 2 people in our party.

The first was my buddy who ordered a Hookah, price he was told was $30, and $50 was handed over. After several minutes, server comes back and hands my friend $15 and waits for the tip…so my buddy comes to us and says “I guess the price was $35? He just upped it after walking away” …chalk it up to miscommunication? Eh, maybe.

But then our main bill comes and we noticed the price of the bottle went up around $50 and we had to go to their IG post or online menu to show the waitress the correct amount. She took it and came back with the corrected amount…no apology for the “mistake”.

This happening twice within a few moments makes me believe they do this to a lot of people. It’s crammed in there, people are drinking a lot, people are dancing and music is playing so a lot of distractions. Perfect recipe for adding a...
