Ming Garden — Restaurant in Pawtucket

I just want to begin this review by saying thank you for your years of service to me and my family. But as of this evening, I will see to it that we no longer go to your restaurant. I did not deserve what I received today. We work very hard for our money, my family. and I understand that I turned back orders in the past, but that is simply because you guys are not cooking your food correctly and that is not my fault. I love Chinese food. I have every right to return my food when it is not made correctly. Today the manager made an appoint to Xpress, how unhappy she was with me for returning my last order. Not only did it almost bring me to tears but I literally left the parking lot in complete rage. That is not how you treat your customers on any day. If you can’t make your food correctly, then you shouldn’t have a business it’s just that simple. Clearly the owner does not know how it feels to receive food from a restaurant that is not good multiple times and still go there because our family loves you guys. Thank you for everything you do for our community but I have really hurt feelings after this experience. The owner even told me to find another restaurant. I shouldn’t have to do that if you would cook your food right! And I am not the only one in my family that experiences this. There have been times My parents have ordered food and did not like the quality. We didn’t always complain because we appreciate it and we normally order a lot. It doesn’t happen often but when it does, we definitely notice the food quality. Take care, and thank you for wasting our money. Not to mention the replacement order I just ordered after receiving poor general chicken a couple of nights ago, just exploded in my bag because of improper closure of the container. Now I have a huge mess to clean up and I’m not even going to bother calling you guys. I just never wanna deal with Ming Garden...

First impression was unprofessional, lady in the front was smacking on a plate of food right in my face while taking my order .. next red flag was that my order was 9.99 for something I usually pay 6-8 bucks for at any other chinese takeout place so if you think this place is a good value you need to get out more . Definitely overpriced for what it is .. but what took the cake was when I got home and opened the plate they gave me the tiniest pieces of chicken! I had a half a chicken and I'm used to having an intact half of chicken when i go to other places and they chopped it up to small parts and the rice filled half of the tray ?? What a rip off . And The pork in my rice was undercooked and gooey. Never came back...

Place is great. It's in the corner of a shopping plaza next to an out of business papa john's and a subway. I got a lunch special general tso's with pork fried rice and then did the "addon" of boneless spare ribs.

The fried rice actually had vegetables (!) and the general tso's was very good and crispy. I had asked for it to be extra spicy but I had also asked for this after I ordered so that's on me. The spare ribs, which I asked to be well done/burnt, were cooked exactly how I liked.

Whole thing was like $9. Can't beat it and I am literally going back right...
