This pub has a very classic feel to it, different than your typical mega bar seen in every "Bar and Grill" chain. Brodies hosts a very casual environment with a tight space and no waiting area for table seating (standing room only behind barstools). After a short wait, We were seated in the back of the pub, which is a very nice and quiet spot in an otherwise very loud place. A rich and relaxing ambience in stark contrast to the pub entrance, it feels wasted as the servers also seem to be part-time bartenders and simply do not focus on tables. However, the food came out very fast and a surprisingly large portion for both entrees ordered. This was some of the BEST "bar food" I've ever eaten, and is the sole reason I couldn't bring myself not rate this place lower than 4.
Many would likely not complain if a drink was made "too strong" as it's basically getting free liquor and some people may like that... Even me on MOST occasions. However, the drink I got was a cocktail, and it was 5:30 on a Wednesday, I wasn't exactly looking to get wasted, just a casual drink after work. This cocktail was WAY overpoured, and I had to ask my server to grab a glass to dilute the drink, but even that didn't make it palatable. They were kind enough to take it off the bill, but they weren't nice about it, and even joked "Who complains about a stiff drink". Then our server disappeared (Maybe took a break?) and I had to go up and ask the bartender for our check.
Honestly, not the best experience, but again, the food was SO worth it that I would have no problem returning for future visits, and I'd be willing to bet that the drink was more of a one-off...
Read moreA wee bit saddened by the experience. A word to the wise, run if you are seated at the first table to the right when you enter. It is impossibly small. Not only is the length of the table oddly short but the benches leave little if any room to move comfortably. This area should be made for two people only but clearly they wanted to squeeze every bit of space to make some money. We went on a Sunday night and at 6:30 they were out of the ingredients for the wedge salad. My wife opted for the pizza which was average at best. I had the Phillip Burger which was impossible to eat because it fell apart. The place provided an absurdly small amount of sweet potatoe fries with my entree and the basket of sweet potato fries was clearly from the bottom of the bag as it was all tiny pieces. The mini serving board that the burger was on did not have scire marks to capture the grease from the burger so that ended up in the table and the serving board was too small. The desert list was memorized by staff, not a good move since this gives the customers little time to mull over the desert options and they did not have coffee. The bar is your best bet as far as comfort. Place is beautiful inside. Bathrooms super clean. Bottom line, you can get much better for the price you are paying. As an aside, the razberry and blueberry sangrias were indistinguishable in taste. Very disappointed. Plenty of parking in the immediate area so that's a plus and the music was great. Please get rid of that...

Speaking of drinks… I loved the Tropic Like It’s Lolo—it’s fruity, fun, and just the right amount of tropical without being too sweet. Totally crave-worthy! Their cocktail menu has a playful twist and the bartenders really know their stuff.
