sweetgreen — Restaurant in Peabody

I will leave my previous review down below. I just came here to add that today I went to SG at 9:50 and EVERYTHING was wrapped and closed down and they said they don’t have anything available. I just can’t get over the disappointment and I don’t understand why they close down ten minutes before actually closing. Now I know to not go to SG after 9:45. My previous review not only didn’t solve anything but made it worse too. I love SG and this infuriates me every time. I always get turned down for service if it’s past 9:55 and I didn’t bother writing anymore reviews but tonight I left work early enough to get there ten minutes early and still got turned down. Now I’m hangry and disappointed. Please hire people that actually want to work and give service till the given time.

Previous review: I have asked before if they stay open till exactly 10 pm and one of the employees said yes. I am on a special diet and have been ordering from this Sweetgreen a lot lately. I never have problems with the miso glazed salmon, but the hot honey chicken is a different problem entirely. Last time I received the chicken, it was undercooked and almost raw. So today when I ordered it, I asked them in the special instructions to please cook the chicken through. They instead thought it would be funny to give me BEEF in my hot honey chicken plate instead.

You might think this is funny, but there are a lot of reasons people don’t eat beef and we deserve to receive the food we paid for.

I’d like to hope this was a mistake and not malicious retaliation against me having special instructions for the chicken, but really, how hard is it to remember that the hot honey chicken plate uses chicken and not steak?

Randomly came across this place and decided to give it a try, considering there is no SweetGreen in Cleveland, OH.

Highly recommend this place over Chipotle, Moe’s, Qdoba, and other places in the same category. The potato wafers were better than any fries I would buy and it satisfied that fried potato craving. The ingredients in the grains + protein bowl taste much better, there is HUGE variety. The Organic Hibiscus Berry Tea they sell is so delicious with ZERO sugar, and the Crispy Rice Treat was a great and better health-conscious desert/snack to finish off this meal.
