Im a vegetarian and I have been let down by every server over the last 3 years here. My last two visits were horrendous. On December 3rd I went to order your stuffed mushrooms app, which I order every time. I have told all servers im a vegetarian and apparently they all thought, at least 25 different servers, that I was talking for my health. It wasnt until Nov. 3rd that a server said oh, there is veal stock in the mushrooms. I was devastated. I dont consume animals for moral and religious reasons. This is a corporate place. You apparently put these servers through a lot of training so whats up with this? I asked a manager if this was true and gave her my experience and she could have cared less. I sat there knowing I had consumed something awful, many times due to careless cheesecake employees. This should be a safe place for dietary preferences and restrictions, none the less any requests at all. Now on my visit yesterday, I ordered the four cheese pasta, I said can you put the cutlet on the side for my bf and add prosutto and arugula to the top of the chicken to mimic the chicken bellagio on your menu. I said please put it on the side because I am vegetarian. The server and I (light black skin and yellow blonde hair with long side bangs,) had a full convo about this and when the food came out the prosutto was on the pasta and there was no arugala on my mans chicken, just plain. This is extremely distasteful to see another server not care about my meal. No one has money to spend on meal that doesnt come out right, and certainly service that was neglectful. This server did not come to check on us after we sent our food back. If someone checked on us, I would have cancelled right away. (Then the audacity for them to bring me the bill with two comped pastas, thats tacky.) When a manager walked by I grabbed her and asked to cancel it. I explained I lost my appetite and she also did not care. What is wrong with this place? There are a lot of ways a server can ensure someones requests are met, even if they found their order tricky, which mine wasnt. After a few appetizers we wanted to share a pasta but now im really all set with this place and the lack of effort and care from servers and management. The server didnt pre bus our two top table at all. She was not busy enough for the lack of service, she was just incompetent And didnt care. If it were up to me she would have gotten a 5$ tip because thats the service I got. I had to stack every round of plates and ask for new silverware which never came to the table, even for cheesecake at the end. My boyfriend tips well, this is supposed to be my comfy go to place. Now I cant trust a server to know anything or a manager to care. Who trains these people? Happy go lucky? I am saving this message and am interested in the response that Im looking forward to receiving. I will also be leaving this message across all platforms to others can know not to come here if they have a dietary restriction or simply dont want to waist their money. We sat in a half booth near the bar and it was freezing too. Really falling apart...
Read moreWas there on Sunday for brunch with my mom. We walked in just a few minutes after they opened, it was only us and like 1 other party there at the time. I asked for water with lime, got lemon. no big deal, and asked for sliced lime on the side. waitress struggled taking our order as she kept adding ingredients we did not ask for when she was reading it back to us. We waited close to an hour for our food to come out. By the time we got our breakfast it was cold and rock hard. We could tell the food had been sitting a while, the waitress clearly forgot to get it but while we were waiting could see her standing around the hostess area just chilling and goofing around not paying attention. She dropped our food off and never came back to check how everything was. When she finally came back over she saw we did not eat and when we told her it was cold said she would take it back. We asked if she could just have it removed from our bill as we had already waited a really long time. The manager came over (woman with black hair and pink shirt) and said "so you didn't like the food?" she offered to have something remade for us. I calmly explained we had already waited so long, food was cold etc and did not want anything else. She said with the rudest attitude "WELL I WAS JUST OFFERING". I said "we appreciate that..." and while I was MID SENTENCE she rolled her eyes, scoffed and WALKED AWAY FROM ME while I was still speaking. She was SO rude and disrespectful and this woman should NOT be in management at all. ( I am a general manager for a different company and neither me or my staff would ever get away with treating a customer this way. The waitress finally came back over and asked if the manager was able to help us. I said "I don't know what is going on because she was extremely rude and walked away from us mid sentence." She looked confused and went to check. Eventually after more waiting, the waitress came back with our check. The meals were taken off and we were left with a check for $6.95 for orange juice. We put a $20 in and she came back and said did you want change? We said yes. She said "how much did you want back?" Like we were going to leave a $13 tip for ORANGE JUICE and a horrible experience. I have never been treated this way and this was the worst experience we have had anywhere. This was the first and last time we will ever go for breakfast here. I have been many times before for dinner and the wait staff is always very friendly and food consistent. Not sure what has happened...
Read moreCame in for late lunch today with my friend around 2:45/3. It was empty/maybe 7 tables in the entire restaurant. Veronica our server came over to greet 7 minutes after we were seated. I let her know that I had a gluten allergy ( I have been here before and the other server I had was extremely knowledgable and would double check with the kitchen/act extra cautious regarding my allergy which I really appreciated because its new for me) Anyways, this server came back around and took our order- she didnt understand very well what I was requesting for a meal with my allergy. She then put our order in and we didnt see her for a good 20 minutes. My drink was empty for a while and she finally came over for refill. After then a good 40 minutes went by and we still didnt have our food. The 4 top next to us who sat 10 minutes after us got their food WAY before us. We made eye contact with the server multiple times and she not once came over to acknowledge us after the fact that she served anothother table their food infront of us. I then had to pull the manager over (cant remember name but he had glasses) explained and he didnt really seem too apologetic, he said hed check on the food, came back then non chalantly said that my friends pasta dish “has been ready) but my sandwich wasnt because the cook made a mistake and did fried chicken instead of grilled and they were just “fixing it”. He offered me something else while we waited so I asked for the fries that come with my sandwich (fries were cold/hard so I nicely asked for new ones and the new ones were fine). Food came out finally but at the end of the day the manager didnt offer to comp or pay for desert which I was completely shocked by. At that point, we were extremely annoyed and wanted to leave. At the end of the day, as a server you should come over and acknowledge your table to inform your customer a mistake was made. If I didnt pull the manager over for an update, I dont know how much longer the food wouldve taken. The server barely paid any attention and never apologized for anything throughout our time. As someone whose worked in a restaraunt for 6-8 years as head expo in kitchen and on the floor, its frustrating having experiences like this. We were nice and patient our entire time and the least they couldve done was comp something off of our bill or offered desert. I really love that location but Im not too sure if I want to go back considering how non chalant...
