I went to the Double Bull located at the Northshore mall on 210 Andover St in Peabody, MA📍 This spot has endless beers to choose from, pub food, arcade games🕹️👾, darts, pinball and so much more.
For drinks🍺 we tried the Captain Max IPA. This beer was specifically made for the restaurant from Coastal Mass Brewery in Beverly. If you aren’t an IPA fan this is still a great beer to try!
For appetizers we got the Mexican street tots 🍟6/10 and the general tso cauliflower bites 8/10. The mexican tots were good I just wished they had more elote corn🌽 and sauce on them! The general tso cauliflower was tasty and came with siracha lime cream and toasted sesame seeds.
For main dishes we got the quinoa bowl, truffle grilled cheese🥪sandwich and burger🍔 number 5. The quinoa bowl came with kale, sweet potatoes, dried blueberries and toasted seeds. I wish this bowl had more flavor(not my favorite dish of the night) 4/10. The truffle grilled cheese had white cheddar, mozzarella, prosciutto, and arugla. It came with a side of tomato 🍅soup. This was delicious I again just wish there was more truffle flavor or even mushrooms🍄 7/10. Burger number 5 was the star⭐ dish of the evening. It had two 4oz angus beef patties, guacamole 🥑and chipotle aioli 8/10.
Finally, for dessert🍦 we got the brownie sundae. This is a very shareable dessert🍨 and a great way to end the evening (just missing some toppings-where was the chocolate sauce /cherry on top?) 6/10.
This is a fun spot to take your family if you are looking to eat and play some games. They even had a corporate event party going on while I was there. If you are in the north shore check them out!

Read moreWe tried the double bull on a Saturday night around 5pm, since we have the kids we got there before the adult crowd starts filling up. We did not have a reservation and at first they were apprehensive about finding us a table. Apparantly you should always call ahead if you can. We got a table on the mezzanine adjacent to the pinball machines. The space itself is very well designed, tall ceilings, cool details and uniqur artifacts everywhere with exposed beams, but didn't feel overwhelmingly loud. So that's a plus in my book.
Our table had a bit of everything. Fried pickles, onion ring tower, cheese pizza, tots, kids cheeseburger, carnitas tacos, half chicken, steak tips, parmesean fries. Food was fine, average at best, nothing I'd say was great. Apps felt like the frozen stuff you'd find anywhere else. Certainly didn't taste like a scratch kitchen like you'd find at the restaurant next door. But it did the trick and everyone left satisfied. Service was also fine and friendly, and the server helped us with the birthday cake for the kiddo.
Lots of games everywhere, and of course, children running around. Pinball, table shuffleboard, darts, etc. Very neat vibe, but also very busy. I love pinball so it was fun getting to show the kids the incredible machines.
Id go back if it were for a game night or something, definetely not my first choice for food, but maybe that's just the way the food industry is nowadays. Worth...
Read moreThe Filet mignon was tute sute! Absolutely Delicious. Tender, melted like butter. I have a problem with steak. Chewing, texture, swallowing any unwanted fatty marble. But this.... Oh My, every bite was succulent. Forever lucious to savor, and grazed delicately on the palate. Reflective memories linger for the desire to feast on that juicy, thick, sweet filet again.
The nachos were out of this world!!!
The Service was lovely. They were readily available for your needs. However, the atmosphere - extremely difficult to hear others in our own party sitting next to one another at the same table. And it was extremely difficult to hear the server and they could NOT hear us as well. They continuously had to maneuver around the table to each patron and lean in to hear them. The sound quality is terrible. Acoustically challenged in the design. It's as if they intentionally wanted loudness or constant echoing to occur so it would appear to be an upbeat location when a patron...
