Yesterday my friend and I visited your restaurant. There were 35 minutes left before the restaurant closed, we doubted whether we would have time to relax a little after the gym. I want to express my great gratitude to your bar tender Richard. He turned out to be very friendly, despite the time. He offered us the menu and placed our order very quickly and in an organized manner. After 15 minutes, two more men came into the restaurant, he also served them with a smile and attention. I was so pleased yesterday from such a warm and friendly attitude to each client. My husband and I have been loyal customers since the day this Legal Sea Foods opened. We always loved coming here. The quality of food and atmosphere has changed completely. We remember the days of the 'sushi boat' and were always looking forward to ordering that. When that was no longer offered, we ordered separate sushi. Still good, just not the same quantity/price comparison. We always came for lunch. We had sushi last year and the waiter was obnoxious and telling his life story and how many restaurants he had worked at. We only saw him that time and ruined our lunch. The last time there was hardly any sushi on the menu so we ordered a fish burger. It was greasy, the fries were limp, not enjoyable at all. To give them one last chance for old time's sake, we decided to have dinner a few weeks ago. We both ordered the yellow fin tuna steak and asked for medium rare. What we received was an overcooked piece of tuna that was dry and horrible. The fries once again were limp. Looked like fried just once, not twice to get the crispy texture. I was there for lunch, with my husband, the food was good, the restaurant was clean, quiet, nice and warm but, I will never go back because of the behavior of a waitress, her name Mary Beth, First, if we like to order wine, she said that green card is not valid ID, we had to have our passport on, which is not true. Then we provide 2 forms of ID, and we were able to have wine but, she looks like she was doing a big favor giving us wine without passport. 👿 Second, she was talking out loud, with other customers there, after she thanked them for the tip that she was afraid that the couple here,( meaning me and my husband) , will not be able to leave her tip, they are not from here, why here, why me! She looks to care more about tip than her duty. My husband was in good mood, he make himself comfortable enjoying the food but, I get disappointed, I wanted to leave that place as soon as possible and never go back there. At the end of lunch I gave her the tip in cash so she can finally be in peace, while I was paying from my card for lunch.
