New location on the beltway next to a convenience store. The restaurant is nice, new and clean. They have touch screens set up where you can place your order. We had brisket, ribs and 5 sides. The ribs were good, although my spouse thought the rub was too salty. Unfortunately it seems they use cheap packer briskets - the meat was tough and chewy. We didn’t finish the sliced meat. The Cajun stew, potato salad, and beans were very good. I was a little disappointed in the collard greens - they were also salty and didn’t have much flavor.
I should also note that prices were high compared to most other BBQ restaurants. For example, a rib and brisket plate is $31.99 And a brisket one meat plate is $21.99.
It’s too bad the brisket quality was below par. The manager and servers were very friendly and helpful. But we likely won’t go back because there are better options...

The restaurant is s separated store from the gas station (plus for my liking). After pumping i went Into HC BBQ to wash my hand and then order! The bathroom was clean, soap dispenser full, paper dispenser full and touch free (check & check). Before i could place my order at the kiosk. The Pit Master greeted me while his apprentice asked what was my order (Bingo). The food was great! I sat in the parking lot to take s bit then head to work and finish at my desk but.... They should start doing whole and half chickens because 12.00 for a leg quarter is horrible.Besides that every thing was delicious. i like the old location inside the gas station. The young man that cut the meat is so cool and the young lady at the register had great customer service service. the other location they just point you yo the key pad to place your order, not good. people have questions and the machine can’t answer. just a tip to the owner. I love the flavors and the inside gas station location. the new location should use same concept take people order and engage them then you will have a out of this world bar...
