Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Pearland

TW: Talking about throwing up The food here is amazing. Every time I go to Sonic, the staff is good at their job and usually pretty quick about it. Yesterday (Aug 7th at around 7ish), I got 2 corn dogs, a small root beer, and my brothers leftover chocolate oreo shake. I go to bed and wake up at around 1:32am with a headache behind my eye/eye brow, I get up to take an advil and try and sleep it off, it doesn't work and I eventually feel like I'm going to throw up. I go to my mom, sit on the couch for a little bit, and throw up the corn dogs I ate and the root beer. I threw up so much that my body had nothing left to vomit up but kept trying to get anything out. My mom had the same problem last time she went to Sonic, except it was just nausea and a head ache. I don't know if it was undercooked and it was the meat or a bug someone brought into the kitchen. Since their foods are quite good, I'll forgive them, but it would be nice if they took a little more caution going forward so something like this...

Sonic Corporate— Please commend, Ryan, who just demonstrated AMAZING integrity and service! This young man delivered my cheese tots and ice cream cone faster than I expected, at 1:20pm today. As he read back the order he was delivering he paused and said, “Ma’am, I am so sorry, but my hand accidentally touched your ice cream cone. I’ll get you another one”. He quickly returned to my car with a fresh cone, with his gloved hand and apologized again. Wow! He didn’t know that I’m a nursing school(RN) professor who just recently taught nearly 50 students about infection control and safe client care. However, INTEGRITY is doing Right, because it’s right! God Bless you, Ryan, and I pray you receive the positive Accolades from Sonic leadership...

First off the pull in ordering they were not taking orders there. Then I go thru the drive thru I'm the first to order no one is in front of me. Order my food and then wait 20-ish minutes. Wait before we get to my long long wait on some nasty hard fries a jalapeno burger with only 5 jalapeno on it over fried mozzarella sticks, the line of cars are lining up behind me. The lady comes out with food but not for me the car behind me then she comes out again but not for me. Then a different lady comes out and still not for me. They took care of 4 other orders before I got my order. Needless to say I will never go there again. I rate them poor service cold burned fries not ever going back.
