Waffle House — Restaurant in Pearland

Ok so, Waffle House is without a doubt, some of THE BEST breakfast you'll ever have in your millenia, no kidding at all, thanks to Alex!! Check this out y'all, this young man is only 21 and knows a kitchen and it's utensils/equipment and it's edible contents like Gordon Ramsey or Wolfgang Puck know frozen from fresh. This young man does not play when it comes to the kitchen, he's remarkably talented and has the knowledge of a top chef that's been in the business for 200+ year's, I'm so not kidding even the slightest bit y'all. Alex is smart and his passion is food. Matthew and I went and ordered food to go in person, Alex was working. Matthew talked with him while he was getting our grub ready for us. Matt said, and I could clearly see in to the kitchen from where I was at too, I'm a true witness, while he and Matthew are conversing, he's just cracking eggs, adding cheese and mixing waffle batter at the same time, while still staying focused on his conversation with Matt, and he's cleaning up as he goes!! WHAT?!! I'll tell y'all what, if you think I'm stretching it at all, go on down to Waffle House on Broadway Str., order scrambled eggs w/cheese, a couple slices of bacon, and a waffle, you'll believe me once you take a single bite of those eggs!! So, get up, go get some breakfast from Mr. Alex down at waffle House, you won't be sorry... I came to this waffle house off of 518 and cullen in Pearland last night, 12/1/2021 around 8:40 pm. I went to open the door and it was locked. There were only 2 customers in the restaraunt. They were a couple. The waitress was next to them talking and laughing. I waved to get her attention. She looked my way and then ignored me and looked the other way. I called the restaraunt and no one answered. I called again and the waitress walked to the other side of the restaraunt, looked in her purse, and then walked back to the customers. Then I was able to wave and get one of the customer's attention. I pointed to the waitress and then the customer let her know I was trying to get her attention. The waitress came and unlocked the door. She slightly opened it and talked to me through the door. I asked her if it is it open. She said yes but she is closing it temporarily since she is the only one there. She said that she was trying to clean up so she could get ready to leave her shift before the next person comes. I said that theres only 2 people in there and that I had wanted to dine in. She said sorry but she has to keep it closed and I can come back once the next person relieves her. So I left and I called the new waffle house off of county rd 59 in manvel. I first asked if they were open. The lady I talked to said they are open. I told her what I just experienced and she said that she was not allowed to close it. She told me she would contact the manager. Hopefully that does not...

Horrible experience every single time I have gone to the restaurant. After 3 previous bad experiences at this location I attempted to give them another try at which point I was disappointed yet again. There is no sense of pride working in this location. Employees are not happy working there and its written all over there faces. The customer service is non existant and the manager himself is included. I called ahead to order my food then proceeded to have a family member go in and pick up my food. When my food got to my home, half my order was missing. I then called the manager who assured me a refund was in order yet I have received nothing of the sort. I drove into the location ( another 44 min drive roundtrip) to go get the rest of my breakfast. I have a call in to the corporate office to see if they can fix this. There is no way to rate this place as a ZERO therefore I have no choice but to rate it as 1 star. Lucky for them my experience with other waffle house locations has been pleasant or I wouldnt even bother with the restaurant all together. Webster Waffle House is amazing and the customer service is off the charts. I would prefer to stay closer to home to get there amazaing waffles but after this 4th screwup I will make the 1hr drive to Webster instead.
