Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in Pecos

Now could be the fact that I have to drive 45 minutes to the yard with my order but the chicken and Bush's Chicken in Pecos Texas was probably the worst chicken I've ever had. Although the service is fast the guys taking the orders were pretty much kids and really had a bad attitude but then again what can you expect from kids pretty much fresh to the workforce and they have 0 customer service. The chicken wasn't crispy at all again I did travel 35 minutes to get to our hotel. The rolls were cold mind you I was eating these on the way home. The okra is probably the biggest disappointment. I'm not exactly sure what was going on but the okra was soggy and tasted much like bleach or disinfectant. The gizzards are actually pretty good but I believe it's because they were made fresh. When I asked the guy taking my order seemed upset at the fact that I was even ordering the gizzards. Swee tea was also oK I got a gallon of that. I definitely would not recommend getting Bush's Chicken but then again who am I to tell people to get their own food all I know is the experience I had there was terrible. Got there at 8pm, 3 people on front of me. 8:22 rolls around and it is my turn to order. I got a 30pcs family meal. 5 minutes later the young lady comes out and says that it'll be about 7 minutes. I agreed with slight understanding. During this 7 minutes in the other line 3 people have come and gone. 7 minutes pass and another young lady aka me if I had a drink. I told her no, but it's been 7 minutes and should be out shortly. Finally around 8:40i asked for an update on my order. The young lady who offered the drink said it'll bea little while longer, would like a drink? I have in to some sweet tea which I split with my baby. 8:45 rolls around and they finally brought it my food.

Pros: Best Chicken place in Pecos. Fast service. Even the drive thru when it gets full has 2 lanes and they send people out to take orders when full. Food is almost always fresh and delicious.

Cons: Chicken Tenders are sometimes small making it feel like you got shorted on a $9 plate and if they are not busy they aren't always fresh.
