Captain D's — Restaurant in Pell City

Apparently on some meal a soda is considered as a vegetable. A week or so ago, my 77 yr old mom and hee friend ate there . They waited about 20 minutes for someone to come take their order, no one came. Then someone in the back said not to take anymore orders until they got caught up. At no point did anyone say anything to them! First example, we are sorry for your wait, would you please have a seat and we will let you know when you can order, nothing , not a word! Finally about 40 minutes later or longer, they placed the order and had wait another 30 minutes to get the food! This is unacceptable! The wait would have been fine if someone had addressed them! Then they messed up the order on top of that, the food was not good at all! My mother is to nice to say anything! So on her behalf I AM! We did go there yesterday and I did say something to the cashier, and was very nice, but couldn't do anything, not being a Manger. We asked for hot fries, didn't get them, the food sucked! WE WILL NOT BE BACK! THIS STORE NEEDS TO BE...

I am absolutely sick of spending money on food here and not being able to eat it. I pulled up and was asked if I wanted to try butterfly shrimp for $1.99 I said yes. Added 1 baked pot 1 small coke. It was $14.77. I said no. I'll get the meal deal instead. It was awful. I asked for lemon wedges. I didn't get, my baked potato was old and turning brown and cold. The fish had so much pepper on it I couldn't eat it. No salt, no pepper and no receipt. I took 2 bites of my meal and stopped eating. The people who work there seemed like they didn't care about customers. Oh and they gave me the wrong Pepsi. I asked for a small regular Pepsi but paid for a large and it was diet Pepsi. And they weren't even busy. The last time they left out a $5.00 dessert that I paid for. I tried to call, but no answer on the phone and I live out of town. This place has really gone down hill and you need to get better quality people or something. I do not recommend...

I am very dissatisfied with this particular location. Every time I come here something happens. This time I pulled up at the drive thru around 10:33 pm — granted I know they close at 11 — I sat there for a minute, I said hello. Nothing. So I called & told them I had been sitting in the drive thru & nobody has came to take my order. After we hung up, I was placing my order & asked for a baked potato.. we can’t make baked potatoes because we are about to close…… it takes 20 minutes to make one? Okay, that’s fine. Can I have a large sweet tea.. we do not have any sweet tea……. So I said just never mind on the entire order & drove off. I get being ready to go home.. but seriously. You work for the public. I don’t nag about things like this, just rubs me the wrong way when it’s a continuous problem every time...
