So the Name is actually the "New" Great Wall. (Used to be just The Great Wall and they "had" Great Food) 2nd - I don't expect anybody in Pell City Alabama to actually be looking for authentic Chinese cooking in Pell City and you definitely won't find it here! 3rd - I don't eat Fried Rice(Unless I make it myself) so don't order Steamed Rice HERE cause at 5:30 in the early evening it's not fresh it's old and for use in Fried Rice (so if you eat steamed rice this isn't the place for you!) 4th - EVERY ASIAN (and some Mainland Americans) know the difference between Bok Choy and Napa cabbages (if you don't, don't worry about it this doesn't pertain to you anyway lol) so when you say there's Bok Choy in the Chow Mein and there's Napa cabbage instead THAT MAKES YOU A LIAR(liar, liar pants on fire... And if you're not careful so will your car lol) {I don't care about your car, you probably ripped someone off to get it anyway}
ANYWAYS... I say All this, because every human being has to eat to Live. HOWEVER, there are "some people" who LIVE to Eat!!! It's the flavor, the taste, the texture the Food... To experience other countries and what they have to offer culinary wise(aka authentic foods) through the pallet(aka your tongue) (and proper"AUTHENTIC" Chinese Cuisine is SOOOOOOO Flavorful and absolutely delicious(Yet different than Japanese or Korean)that it dances on your taste buds on it's Merry trip to its final destination. They have "Food" HOWEVER...if you're looking for "GOOD" Food, it's not here... That Chinese Junker has sailed. As for what dishes I recommend... I'd say go to Birmingham and eat at King's Buffet the food at least tastes better and they know the difference between the different cabbages and did I mention it...
Read moreI have been here three times and made the same order every time. I recommend the honey chicken, thai boba tea, and fried donuts. They also give you your money’s worth of food. That being said, I came here twice before I left town for a while, and the orders were given to me hot and fresh. Now I don’t know if there’s a new management as again, I left town for a while, but I decided to come here a few hours ago right before they closed and ordered the same thing as usual. This time, it was also given to me hot, but it had hair all in the chicken. When I give this place another try, which I definitely will to see if it’s just gone downhill or if it’s just a one time thing, I will change my review to update this depending on how that goes. I had to go ahead and give it a 4 star instead of 3 for now as today I did make a last-minute order on call, and that could have perhaps affected how it was given to me. I won’t say whether or not to come here until I edit this review. Edit: Changed it to a five-star review because they listened, and I had a better experience when...
Read moreI arrived same time as two other ladies and one asked if I'd ever been here. Said nope, my mom loves it though. None of us had been, but I hope you both enjoyed your meals! My cashew chicken was wonderful, large slices of chicken, mushrooms, carrots and onions, savory & a little sweet. Rice was fresh and cooked to perfection. I ordered a side of sesame sauce and it was sauteed fresh. The eggdrop/wonton soup was delicious, with huge wontons. Make sure to order meat in your egg rolls if that's what you want. Ordinary egg rolls are cabbage only. That said, they are big, fat and juicy. They have a Philly egg roll that I'm gonna have to try now! There are a few tables, but it's more of a takeout place. I'll definitely...
