The food was GREAT! I loved that the dipping sauce was not spicy hot. That's unusual. My husband was able to find something he liked and in the past at other Mexican food restaurants, he was not able to find something he liked. Our waitress was Sophia and she was very professional, friendly and thorough. She took really good care of us. From what I observed of the other waitstaff, they also seemed to be really good. The whole place was clean and neat with the music soft in the background and Not blasting so loud you can't have a conversation. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing and the prices were fair and reasonable. We will definitely go back! Excuse us, we had already started eating before I thought to take pics but I wanted you to see how good it looks. EDIT 6-22-21 What part of NO HOT PEPPERS, is hard to understand??? Things have changed dramatically since the first few times we ate here, and NOT for the better! I loved that the food was not so spicy hot! Now, that is not the case! I always specify to EVERY waitstaff person No Hot Peppers. This time was no exception. He asked if we wanted cheese dip and admitted it did have hot Peppers so I declined. When my meal came, the first bite SET MY MOUTH ON FIRE!!! I took another couple of bites to be sure and the whole thing had hot peppers. When I asked to have it replaced, they argued that it was just the cheese sauce. DUH...NO HOT PEPPERS... I guess the guy was the manager, who came out and told me they would remake it and put the cheese sauce on the side. I told him even the inside of the chimichanga was hot. He informed me that it was very mild and even children eat it!!!! I don't care WHAT kids can eat, that's great for them. I said, NO HOT PEPPERS!!!!! If you can't serve me the food without that anymore, then tell me that and I will go elsewhere!!!!! (BEFORE my mouth and stomach are blistered!) The couple of bites I swallowed caused acid reflux so bad that I had to skip dinner all together. Other places are consistent about providing the food with NO HOT PEPPERS! I will not go back here. It's pretty insulting to be informed that you are so stupid or obnoxious that even kids can eat this....
Read moreWhile traveling we googled and chose this place. Glad this was a great choice out of the other restaurants. Our male server was top notch and I’m not exaggerating. He treated us like we were at a five star restaurant and we’ve been to plenty. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is very close to Tijuana restaurants. DH had the Burrito Supreme and substituted steak with a steak taco on the side. I had the Quesadilla Hawaiiana minus the guacamole and tomatoes that come with it. Everything was very flavorful and did not taste commercialized if you know what I mean.
Oh yeah the chips and salsa are delicious too. The chips were hot and fresh. The waiter brought a fresh basket out before we reach the broken tiny pieces.
I would consider this place a hidden gem for Mexican food.
We would definitely come back again if we’re traveling this way in the future. This place did...
Read moreFood is great. However it was cold outside and they kept allowing or having the doors left open and half of the dining area is right in front of these doors so myself and 2 young sons were freezing the entire time. On top of that our order was messed up but by the time the food did come and with us being hungry and cold we just hurried ,ate, and left as soon as possible. Do not let this review change your judgment of the service ,dining,or food. They could have just been having a bad night because they were so busy and it also seemed they were short handed. Regardless food is always good, we proportioned, and less cost and more food for your money than most places,they're...
