ā 1 Star Review
I recently visited La Granja, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The first thing I noticed was the lack of cleanliness ā the dining area, tables, and floors all looked neglected and poorly maintained. It gave the impression that cleanliness simply isnāt a priority here, which is very concerning for any restaurant, fast food or not.
The food itself was another letdown. Everything tasted bland and lacked freshness or flavor. I expected better quality, especially given how many similar restaurants manage to serve quick yet tasty meals. Instead, the food here felt carelessly prepared, and nothing about it stood out in a positive way.
Customer service was almost nonexistent. Employees seemed uninterested and disengaged, and no one appeared to take pride in their work or the restaurantās presentation. When you combine poor service with a dirty environment, it leaves a lasting negative impression.
While I understand La Granja is a fast-casual restaurant, that shouldnāt be an excuse for a lack of cleanliness, quality, or hospitality. A clean environment and decent service are basic expectations anywhere food is served. Sadly, this location fell far short in every category.
I would strongly recommend that management take immediate steps to improve cleanliness, food quality, and staff attentiveness. Until then, I canāt recommend this restaurant and would advise others to look elsewhere for a cleaner, better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI been to others location in the past so I know was to expect, In this occasion, I order #2 from the menu that is 1/2 Chicken with rice, Maduro's & beans, for me no habichuela porfavor (no beans please), so I had the option to add more rice or yuca frita, I added more yuca. La Granja has one of the best chicken coal I had eaten in the USA, I must mention that I grew up in the Dominican Republic is hard to find a nice and homemade roast chicken. The chicken is roasted with a delicious and glazed skin. The white and dark meat are both extremely tender and delicious, the side that I had was rice and yuca, the portion of rice was plenty and had a homemade, like one of my aunts or my mom cook it. La yuca frita were on point. the place is pretty big making easy to get a table in parking is easy because is on a little plaza. If I'm in the area i will come here again.
Servers are very nice, the place is going to the counter making an order, pay and wait until they yell your number, where you pick...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve generally enjoyed La Granja as a franchise, as they usually serve flavorful meals with great side options. Unfortunately, this location has been a consistent disappointment.
Iāve visited twice because itās close to my workplace, and both experiences were poor. My first visit was through the drive-throughāmy order was extremely greasy, lacking any flavor, and left me feeling unwell afterward. I assumed it might have been an off day and decided to give them another chance.
On my second visit, my boyfriend and I ordered takeout. He chose a chicken meal, and shortly after eating, he also became sick. Beyond the food quality, I have concerns about the cleanliness of this location compared to other La Granja restaurants Iāve been to.
While this is a great location geographically, the lack of quality, sanitation, and consistency makes it hard to recommend. I truly hope improvements are made, but for now, I would advise choosing another La Granja or a different restaurant...
