Nami Sushi & Grill — Restaurant in Pembroke Pines

July 6, 2018...party of 3... 1st Sunomono (cucumber) salad, all 3 ordered but asked 1st, the sushi chef understood our clarified ordered we do NOT want the green salad nor none of the huge amount of shredded carrots they now opt to add to it. Chef didn’t seem to happy over our request. Folks the staple salad ingredient to Sunomono salad is cucumber along w the octopus, conch, shrimp, fake crab stick & very thin pieces of sashimi they no longer add. Overall it was ok. 2 of us ordered the early dinner Sashimi dinner while the 3rd in our party opted for 2 specialty rolls it was very good. NOW after being served the Sunomono I decided to buy a gift certificate as a gift so I opted to go to the take out side. First it was like I was speaking French as the English speaking person had to go ask another person which lead to being told that ONLY a manager could sell us one. I was NOT able to purchase one...their loss. As FYI the original owners still own this location & the one in Miramar. The original one with the hibachi tables they no longer own. Overall Nami’s is not the same yet the quality they serve is one of the best. Hope my review helps...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. The people are always friendly, our orders are always on point, and they have such amazing mixture of sauces (huge bias since they always provide us with eel sauce lol I love that one in particular).

The food is always very tasty. Myself and my fiance love sushi but we like eating it from places that are reasonably priced and taste fresh, and this place meets both criteria. If you are on the edge, feel free to try it out. You will not regret ordering from this place.

One thing I would like to say that needs some improvement: Their website. They have another store and I could see some customers ordering from the wrong one if they are unaware, and the site loads pretty slowly some times. Service was amazing! Visited this restaurant on a Monday with my husband and three children. The greeter was welcoming. Our server YanYan was attentive and even suggested a few things for us to try since this was our first time. We tried the Gyoza dumplings from the appetizer menu, absolutely delish! We had sushi of course! Perfect and kid friendly. We tried the hibachi chicken cooked to perfection and the Thai fried rice. Everything we tried was great.
