Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Penn Township

First one star review I've ever had to write. Other negative reviews about this place were not kidding -- this place is a disaster.

Waited 30 minutes after time I was told order would be done. They forgot one of the sandwiches and when I pointed it out I was told, "Oh, your order is ready, we just forgot to make the one sandwich." Seriously, do you not understand what "ready order" means? Asked for refund, was told I couldn't have one because half my order was already made. Got home, one sandwich was completely wrong, and the other was half-filled with a badly-torn roll. Funny though, if you walked in and ordered at the counter, they made your sandwich right away (probably because they didn't already have your money). Also worth noting that like other reviewers have stated, they never answer their phones, and all laugh about it where the customers can hear like it's a huge joke.

Submitted complaint to corporate, who conveniently couldn't do anything about it because it's "a franchise location"; Sabrina contacted me to inform me she would process a refund, but I found it funny she was the same person who told me I couldn't have a refund when I asked for it in the store.

So essentially, my conclusion is this location, as well as the entire company, has gone down the tubes since they sold out. I'll be taking my business to Primo's and Penn Brew Station...

So not impressed!! I dont usaully write reviews and hate complaining but i had to say something. My wife and I really enjoy a Capriotti's sandwiches. We travel all over the country on business so we try them every chance we get. We don't mind spending our hard earned money for great food but we tried Capriotti's in West Grove on Baltimore Pike in pa. The first sign should have been no one in the place at the peek of lunch time not a red flag but a sign! The second sign was our chicken cheese steaks wrapped and handed to us was the size of the cardboard tube left over after using up all the paper towels big red flag. We thought it was the end of it but not to our surprise the order was wrong dispite the fact that the nicest young man read the right order back to us as he handed us our sandwiches. This place is single handly the worse Capriotti's we've ever been to. I'm hoping it doesn't ruin it for ppl that haven't tried Capriotti's yet and hopefully they dont go to the West Grove location. I'm sure the Capriotti's at 827 west Baltimore pike will be happy to not see us again and the feeling is mutual. To management get ppl that take pride in what they do or hire someone that will make sure ur eatery is being ran properly. The Capriottis standard is not being practiced at this...

We ordered from your store at the shoppes at Jennersville this evening. When my husband got to the store there was a man there in a wheelchair waiting for his food. Our order wasn’t ready yet so he started talking to the man. When his order was ready the girl handed the man in the wheelchair his food over the counter and dropped it into his lap because he couldn’t reach it instead of walking it around the counter to him. Half of his order fell on the floor. None of the staff behind the counter bothered to help him pick it up. My husband picked up all of his food for him. When he realized they weren’t going to offer to make him anything again (you know because his good hit the floor) my husband reprimanded them. As soon as the man left they all started laughing about the situation. We have a handicapped family member in a wheelchair so this behavior is especially appalling to us. My husband told them he didn’t want the food and wanted a refund and they refused as the order was already made. When my husband was just out of the door they started laughing again. If this is how you treat customers this is not a company anyone should be supporting. It is completely 100% unacceptable. Everyone working there tonight...
