Penn Jersey Seafood — Restaurant in Pennsauken Township

Let me just say I am a philly girl (home of good seafood), lol. I'd like to think I have a good grasp on great flavoring. I'll start off with their fried selections. From the fish to the shrimp, omg immaculate!

Now the veggies, if you don't like butter & garlic, this isn't for you, but if that's your twist, you will NOT be disappointed.

Now, on to the blue crabs, they are meaty but lack a little flavoring. Where I come from, the water gets seasoned, then the actual crab gets seasoned, and finally, it's topped with the garlic and butter. Here, it feels like the water isn't seasoned, but the crab itself is still good. Other than that that I can not and will not complain about anything here.

Finally, the atmosphere, it's always super clean! Surprisingly, it doesn't even smell like stinky seafood.

I love this place! The workers are very pleasant and super friendly every time I walk in.

Please give this small business a chance because I promise you will not be disappointed.

I called in an order for pickup, and used order online for a second time. The sea food has been very good. It was done on time as promised and was hot and crispy. We got mixed fried platters and the shrimp were very large. They butterfly the shrimp so that they cook crispy. The scallops were a good size too. The crab cakes have finely shredded crab but lots of it. The flounder was flakey and very fresh tasting. I especially liked the Clam strips! I haven't had them this good since Howard Johnson's was in business and had them on their menu.(That's Dateing me!). They have a good flavor. My wife purchased a full mixed seafood platter for her 85 year old Mother's birthday and she was really impressed! They also have a full fresh Seafood store with a good choice of seafood there. The store is clean and always smelled fresh. I would not hesitate to order from here anytime I have a craving for...

Disappointed this time. We usually order the SP1 or SP2, substituting the clams for shrimp. ALWAYS excellent, and seasoned well. This time we ordered a fish sandwich...which was served on wheat bread(???). The bread option...was NEVER given as an option. I guess we shouldn't have made the assumption that the bread would be white. Looking at what was offered in the window...as far as crab selection, l chose a dozen medium crabs(already cleaned) for $45. Of course, what l had chosen, wasn't what l received. When l got home l saw small crabs. They were seasoned well, BUT water logged!!! I will be back...for the SP1 or SP2, but NOT for the other items on the menu. Also, younger people taking my order this time...not sure if this was the reason for the...
