Sweet Melissa’s L.O.V.E. LLC — Restaurant in Pennsburg

We have been long time lovers of Melissa’s business ( and herself! ) but I needed to hop on here because we just celebrated our sons first birthday in her tea room and when I tell you she went above and beyond it is an absolute understatement. Melissa’s taste is impeccable & she truly does everything with love- we had guests ranging from 1- 89 years old and everyone raved about it. We are so thankful to her and her daughter for hosting us, creating a beautiful card for our son, even getting him a balloon and checking in with us throughout the party to make sure we had everything we needed ( we did, because she planned and executed everything so well) and to facilitate the flow of everything. Go to her new location for lunch ( chick’n & waffles is our fav) or book in her tea room for your next occasion & I can promise you that you’ll be lifelong fans and want her treats all of the time. This is the FRIENDLIEST establishment I have ever stepped foot in. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with smiles from the whole family that works here. You can tell they are just good natured people!

On to the food….I just love it. I am not a vegan and often wonder if people avoid trying this out because that word makes them think they won’t find something they like. I swear they’d be missing out. The baked goods are so so good. They tend not to be as sweet as you would normally find which I personally love. Their love burgers (I think they have a warm weather version and a cold weather version) are one of the best you can get in the valley - even with no meat! My daughter and I visit frequently and since I just saw her review, I must add one next. Everything is always fresh, ingredients are organic, nothing is ever processed. I love how unique her product creations are with vegan ingredients. When I try to bake or cook vegan, my texture is off, at Sweet Melissa's they nail it every time. Everything is freshly baked same day, ingredients are super clean, you won't get eggs and butter here, this is what separates her from the rest. They don't take any shortcuts.
