Update 2024: We went there on a slow Wednesday night, no one else in the dining area all night and the service was Terrible!!! 2 waitresses sitting nearby, just miserable and not helpful. The bar area was a little loud, otherwise the one bartender that usually tends all the tables there is amazing so we normally go there for half decent service. I’ve NEVER had good service in the dining area in 18 years!!!!!
Update 2022 - It’s hit or miss with service here. Food is a little pricey for the quality. Great beer selection and cool atmosphere.
Update 2019 - Service in the restaurant section is still slow and bad, no matter how many ladies they have working that section. 5 ladies working, only one table of patrons, yet still takes 10-15 minutes to get a drink or service. But when we sit in the bar area, the one lady who handled the tables near there is great, she’s responsive, quick and does a great job. The one guy we get occasionally is awesome as well. The bartenders are always great. Food is good, beers are good, lots of TVs and weekend entertainment. Lots of loud bass in the neighborhood after hours.
Update-2017 - The restaurant service is still slow, it’s much better to sit at a table in the bar area. Beer selection keeps getting better and the food has improved.
Update-2016 - This place has a very good tap selection, good drink and food specials and has a large menu selection of food. The burgers are excellent. Service is still sub par, the dining hall is slower than the bar area.
UPDATE-03/30/2014 - In the past few months we decided to give this place another shot. The food is much better, the pizza is good, prices are decent and the staff there was great, service is still slow.
UPDATE-11/17/09 - Tried their pizza again and it's not too bad, but very salty.
2001-2008 - Ok, we live right behind PC Como and the 4 times in 2 years we ordered food for pickup was lousy. 1 skimpy slice of meat on hoagies, cheesesteaks burnt/dried, soggy fries and onion rings, everything was overcooked. They even managed to screw up the pizza with cheap cheese, soggy drippy crust and watery sauce. 5 years ago when they were in the adjacent building the food was just as lousy. They served me slightly raw hot wings with pink meat and some blood on the bones. I sent them back and the chef came out and gave me a hard time, said they’re suppose to be like that. The manager then gave me an even tougher...
Read moreListen, I know this is a bar, some of the best food I've had in my life is from bars. I am not impressed by foo foo stuff nor do i need a 5 star restaurant to have a good meal but this place was barely mediocre. I'm a local, haven't been here in awhile, sat in the dining room which was sparsely filled with tables, peach colored walls, decor was random thrifted odd artwork and dirty carpet that was filled with garbage and food debris under many the tables, it lacks any kind of atmosphere. The waitress was neither friendly nor rude just existing, took our order and my appetizer quickly arrived. $12 for potstickers that I'm pretty sure I can get the same from the freezer section, blah. They didn't even need to be great, just OK and I would've let it go. On to the main , my husband got a burger and I a French dip. Served on plastic black round "plates" which is not a big thing but i expect that at the bar not the dining room, I'll let that go, just odd. His burger was a frozen patty, he said the diner makes better but was OK he said for $15. My French dip looked beautiful, was good quality ingredients but for beef with onions and cheese not to taste like anything at all is really remarkable. Nothing, no taste, zip. It was cooked perfectly but nothing. The au jus was from a can I'm pretty sure. Waitress came asked if we wanted boxes, nothing else, no how was it, do you need anything... then returned with the check and proceeded to very quickly leave the table, I had to stop her mid jog if I could have dessert, she never asked. The dessert was very good so all was not lost. Waitress should have been friendly or at least fake it. Anyway, the food was not worth $73 with tip, I'll go elsewhere and have a much better meal with better service. I'm happy to spend money on good food and very happy to support locals but it seems like nobody cares here. I want nothing more then for this feedback to help you better this business but I know the bar does well. Given the overwhelming number of complaints about the same things and the attitude in which you respond to some customers, it will not change...
Read moreI'm alittle confused and dissappointed with Pizza Como...before Covid, I came with a group of 10 to Pizza Como and I was "carded" to goto the bar area. My license had expired which I didnt realize and the "bouncers" wouldn't let me in because of this? Everyone in my group was 40 years old roughly including myself. Because of this we all left and went elsewhere. Last night I recommended to a group of us we try Pizza Como again to spend the night and hangout. We got there 8pm and planned on staying until late 1am or so. I paid for (2) uber's to drive us all there so we all could have good time. We ate dinner, it was very good. Had a bacon cheeseburger and nachos. VERY GOOD. I ordered (3) drinks and the waitress said I was flagged for the rest of the night? I'm a big guy 6'7 300+ lbs so 3 drinks is not really "that much" for someone of my sized. The drinks were not large in size either... I was barely even buzzed. We winded up paying the bill and taking our group to Doc Watson's in Gilbertsville staying til 2am spending another $400 bucks with our group. I could see if I was being a problematic customer or was acting incoherently but I was as coherent as when I walked in the door. Very wierd and I probally won't be back...
