It was fate that I stopped here! I was a bit early for a showing around the corner and really needed a cool drink. It was over 90° and I had been on the road for about 40 minutes. Typically if I stop by a café, I want coffee, but I really was looking for some sort of refresher. I looked up what was in the area and voilà, Caffé Doppio showed up on my search.
Given that I had just searched it up on my GPS, I really had no expectations. The place is very cute with plenty of seating. The decor is cheerful and appropriate.
I quickly scanned the menu for any type of refresher. I will admit, I didn’t read the entire menu. I got stuck on “Sweet Cactus”. The barista was very welcoming and told me that is their best selling beverage. Sold!

The people who gave us the food were some of the nicest people I've come into contact with, and I even learned a bit of Sicilian while I was there! Right when I came in, they play Che La Luna. My favorite Italian song! I planned with my mother to go here every 2 weeks, every next weekend. My only complaint? They didn't say what Yes was on the Sicilian phrases board. Still a 5-star place though, absolutely...
