The meat, rolls, & toppings were fresh & not tasting bad! Quick service!

While the meat was generous amt. U can't put 2lbs of meat on a thick roll with not enough cheese. It ends up being very dry if you order a steak with out sauce. I have no idea what their sauce is like as I didn't order that kind.

I got a philly style with Wiz and grilled onions & hot peppers. I could not find the Wiz on it and it was thick and dry. There was an abundance of hot peppers yet barely any grilled onions. They may have cooked the Wiz in the meat but again no cheese taste etc. And the cut sandwich was uneven with cheese and onions like one side had nothing on it. Certainly not anything close to philly.

We also got the california steak with cooper sharp cheese. We were really disappointed because it was again thick and dry - 1 little piece of cheese u could barely taste and sharp cheese usually stands out. The toppings on top were plentiful.

The fries were like a steak type cut with some sort of seasoning and skin. If u like that it would be good if not like me I don't like seasonings and skin. One order is a big portion for 2.

If your gonna pile on a lot of steak you enough cheese to match that or more. It didn't taste like a "cheese" steak. And if you get grilled onions u need to taste them too. No idea who was cooking but they were way off. Food prices are heavy these days there are way better places out there for cheese steak without sauce. Nothing was gross it just was not what I was looking for and felt like I just ordered a dry meat roll. Please dont say philly style lol or at this point even...

Stopped in for a take out order. I think they recently opened so there are some kinks that need to be worked out as with any new business. The place is small but comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere with a friendly and helpful staff. There is street parking and parking on the side of their bldg which is convenient The menu is limited but with just enough to accompany a steak sandwich. I was hoping to see the steak sandwich being made in front of the customers instead of in the back and out of sight. It makes me think the meat is precooked and then warmed and assembled when ordered. I say this because there is no difference in the way one sandwich looks from another besides the toppings. With such a limited menu it would have been nice to see and smell it being cooked. There is nothing better than walking in to the temping aroma and sounds of steak being grilled. Ordered a mushroom cheese steak sandwich fries and perogies. The cheese steak was just ok but the meat was dry and not juicy and very bland which made me think it may have been precooked and heated when ordered. I asked for no sauce but when I got home I saw there was sauce which was bland as well. They do have great fries and perogies. This place has potential but needs improvements to be successful. Hopefully they can make changes so...

FIRST IMPRESSION: Sticker shock! Paid $31.25 for two vanilla shakes and two cheesesteaks (an 11-inch beef and an 8-inch chicken). SECOND IMPRESSION: Chicken cheesesteak was ordered with no onions, but extra sauce and pickles. It had no onions, but also no pickles. THIRD IMPRESSION: The extra sauce came on the side and, according to the receipt, cost an additional 50 cents. Don’t recall ever paying more for extra sauce anywhere. As my wife noted, both sandwiches contained insufficient sauce in the first place. Plenty of meat, but way too little sauce, so they were dry. And the small container of extra sauce she did get was bland, like straight out-of-the-can tomato sauce. FOURTH IMPRESSION: Our cheesesteaks contained no cheese. I ordered provolone cheese for both of them. Although they did not put any cheese on the sandwiches, my receipt shows they did charge us $1.04 extra for it: 52 cents for each sandwich, even though my wife’s sandwich was three inches shorter than mine .(I've repeatedly tried to add a photo proving there was no cheese in my sandwich, but Google locks up every time I try to add it.) FINAL IMPRESSION: THE $5 milkshakes were very good. Not very big for the price, but very tasty. Best part...

Posted tonight from Morty’s Steaks in Emmaus. A great deal of people told me that the cheesesteak here was formidable and was a contender in the Lehigh Valley. I was excited to see that they carry Cooper Sharp, they use a Liscio’s roll, and they source their meat locally. All signs were pointing to a small victory. This steak was … alright. The liscio roll was unseeded and had a very different flavor from its seeded counterpart. I enjoyed the small dice on the onion. The meat was chopped very fine and was a little flat. There was not enough cheese on this unfortunately. The flavor was still pretty good, I’m not tearing this apart, but to be up there with the bigger hitters in the LV, you have to bring more than this one did in my opinion. The employee who helped me was very nice and the price wasn’t bad, but this wouldn’t make my top 5 in the LV list personally. Morty’s Steaks Didn’t Suck, but I’m not in a hurry to get back there.
