Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Pensacola

Went in on a Sunday to grab food, and while I know it is going to be busy I went in with that understanding. I ordered the nibblerz meal through the app with 4 shrimp and it stated it would be about 15 minutes. I grabbed my drink, and watched as more people came in, each ordering their own food. There were about 8 people who ordered after me, anywhere from 5 minutes after to almost 15 minutes after who each received their food before i did. I went to the register to inquire and the person at the register just shrugged her shoulders and stated that it is what it is and mad as if she wasn't going to ask. I had to ask a second time to check on the food to be told they were just then working on it. I could understand if one or two had gotten their food before me, but when 8 people who all ordered more food than I did got their food and left, it became unacceptable. When I was about to ask for a refund, they finally brought my food out. I won't return to this Zaxby's on Creighton at all and would rather take my chances with the once on Nine Mile instead and hope whoever is in charge can go check on their store since they need someone there to light a fire under the...

I'll start this review by saying I absolutely understand that Covid-19 is serious, I've been on the front line as a mail carrier since the beginning of all this. When I came in yesterday I was unaware that you couldn't eat inside the restaurant yet, so I got my food and sat in a small corner booth chair to cool off from the heat to eat my lunch. What I wasn't prepared for is to be thrown out! Not a lot of people realize that these mail trucks can reach temperatures upwards of 120 degrees in the summer. I came in with the beginnings of heat exhaustion and just needed some air and the fact that the manager (I'm assuming she was one) made me go outside and wouldn't even let me explain my situation was disappointing. I don't understand why every other fast food restaurant is open for limited dining in but Zaxby's is making customers leave. I've spent $30 at this location in the past few days but needless to say this experience has soured my affection for this place now. I'll take my money somewhere that will let me not suffer from excessive temperature...

Despite the negative reviews I decided to go anyway. The negative reviews are correct. I love Zaxby's. I feel their wings are better than some of the competition but that's speaking from a Mississippi Delta and Memphis TN point of view. This Zaxby's dropped the ball. For that matter, I wonder if they even had the ball in their hands. When you pay over $20 for a meal you expect tender and juicy wings and crispy and flavorful fries. This didn't happen at this location. The "chef" needs to back up on the cook time of the wings. They were basically inedible. Way to hard and too old. The fries were like they were from the day before. They added ranch to the order but when we got to the window and received the order and asked for an extra ranch we were told they don't have ranch. Knowing that beforehand would have saved me money. The tea was wonderful though. I know good help is hard to find but young people, taking pride in any job you do is honorable.
