I looked through reviews to try and find an answer on whether it was worth ordering and having the food delivered through Uber eats as it is not only more expensive, but it was also my first time ever having food from this restaurant. I took the chance and ordered off Uber Eats and I was so pleasantly surprised! The chicken fettuccine portion was more than to be expected (as some places give you a small container) you get what you pay for in this case! I could’ve easily shared this with someone! it was delectable, my only downfall is that I wish it was saucier. However, that’s just a personal preference! I’m sure I could’ve asked for more on the side without any complaints! I also took a risk by ordering dessert, the white macadamia nut pazooki I think it’s called? and OH MY GOSH! By the way it was packaged, I was immediately excited! They were thoughtful in that they separated the ice cream firstly, not only from the cookie but from the hot food entirely (totally separate bag). After taking out the cookie, there were instructions on the top of the container informing me how to properly (and safely) heat up the cookie in the oven or microwave, so I could have it hot just like at the restaurant! This was incredibly thoughtful and so much appreciated! When I tell you, as soon as I ate a piece of this cookie, I melted!! It is easily the best macadamia nut cookie I have ever had in my life, and trust me, I’ve had a few (it’s my favorite cookie). I will easily order again in the future, just for the dessert!! 10/10! The best and most thoughtful restaurant I have ever ordered from on Uber eats. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
*side note: I did order at 8:15pm on a Wednesday, so it was well past when I’m sure their rush hour time is. As their service MAY differ if you order around normal dinner times. (I could be absolutely...
Read moreJust had BBQ TRI-TIP Sliders with Fries, this appetizer came with three dips as well. Now the meat is very tender and just falls apart in your mouth. These wonderful fries are not greasy or overly salty when you bit into them, they also have perfectly balanced pickles that give you a choice if you want them in your slider or not. Now I’m not a big bread person, but the buns for the sliders where not sweet and they were lightly toasted.
Also ordered BJ’S Tatonaka stout as my choice of beverage. Comes with a wonderful 8.50 % ABV but has a wonderful chocolate smell along with a whiskey aftertaste.
Main course is BJ’S favorite Pizza Wasn’t overly greasy, had fresh mushrooms, bell peppers, onions. All on a soft yet crispy crust. You are given an option of dipping sauce like blue cheese ranch or maybe even bbq if you ask. I’m sure they will accommodate accordingly. They also bring out the main side staple of grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes for you to enjoy a more personal touch to your pizza.
For Desert had a Peanut Butter PIZOOKIE. Wasn’t overly sweet, pair very well with the vanilla bean ice cream. But you do get a choice of three options when ordering. Also big bonus if your into peanut butter they are made fresh with real peanuts throughout. Very tasty,
Also ordered a strawberry margarita with sugar on the brim, but if you prefer salt they can oblige. This Margarita was well balanced by Jules the bar-tender, thank you for a great drink.
None the less there menu has a little for everyone to find something to enjoy. This was my first time being here. Had a wonderful severerJosephine and the food was spectacular the kitchen cooks have out done them selves. Plan on returning to enjoy other...
Read moreWe don't go out to eat very often, as we're on a fixed income and money is tight. So we save up and treat ourselves to one nice meal a month at a "sit-down" restaurant. We chose BJ's this month because we have had such good experiences with them in San Diego and Escondido when living in California. Today, however, we had the unfortunate luck to get either a bad server or a decent server having a bad day. He was very stand-offish from the get-go. We asked about ordering an appetizer and said that we were going to order a meal as well, he asked if we wanted the appetizer to come out first. We said "Yes, that would be great!". Well, we ordered, and about 10 minutes later out comes both the appetizer and the meal within a minute of each other! To add insult to injury, the meal (a tavern cut pizza) wasn't even hot, it appeared to have been done for quite a few minutes and was barely warm. We mentioned to the waiter "weren't we supposed to get the appetizer first, before the meal?". He just kind of shrugged, said "yeah, that's what I put" and turned around and walked away! Our waiter then didn't come back for too long, I had an empty soft drink sitting at the edge of the table which went ignored for the entire meal. He finally brought a beverage when we had finished and were trying to get out of there. Not sure what type of Customer Service Training the wait staff undergoes, but it needs a fine tuning to prevent this type of blatant apathy towards a customer. I worked very hard my entire life, and always gave my job 110%, so I just don't understand why somebody takes a position in the service industry who doesn't want to give...
