Had a party of 10. 4 of us ordered ribeyes, all medium rare. All of them were undercooked which is better than over cooked so nobody complained.
My dad's an old school steak and potato type of guy and he didn't eat most of his steak because he said it was stringy and hard to cut and his baked potato was cold. They wanted an additional 8$ for a salad with your steak and he was pretty disappointed about that too.. we usually go to Black Angus and get a steak, salad, and potato. At the end of the trip he stated Black Angus' steak is better, cheaper, and he would have had a salad... I recommend firebirds to him so that was disappointing.
I ordered three appetizers for the table, the onion rings, the lobster dip, and the deviled eggs. The portions were all pretty small for the price. Three definitely was not enough for our table of 10.
Personally, my steak was solid. It was under a medium rare but I'll take rare over medium any day of the week. I ordered mashed potatoes for my side which were mediocre at best. I think I just was expecting something more for what I paid for them but they definitely didn't impress.
My mom (we were out for mothers day), ordered the sea bass which she enjoyed the fish but she didn't like what it was served on.. it was a bed of some random seeds and veggies or something. I was more disappointed she didn't enjoy her meal as I was taking her out for mothers day dinner.
My brother in law also ordered the ribeye but ordered his "Cajun style". It came with an odd seasoned butter on the side. He expected it on the steak and even asked the sever if it was usually served on the side.. she told him it was usually served on top and didn't know why it was in the side. It was pretty nasty so he ended up being glad it was on the side.. just seemed odd.
My sister ordered a ribeye as well but "Oscar style". When they brought out everyone's food they tapped her shoulder and said "sorry were out of the Oscar Style, we gave you a side of asparagus to makeup for it." ... Okay... They still charged us the up charge for Oscar Style at the end and for asparagus which she didn't even order.
All in all, definitely won't be returning. There are a lot of really good steakhouses in the valley and this one just doesn't impress. It's about the quality of outback with the price point of Steak 44. If you want spend what this place wants, HIGHLY recommend steak 44 or even Eddie V's which is a sea food place and their steak still blows this out of the water for the same price.
At the end of the day, this just isn't even close to worth the 600 dollars we spent... Some lessons are learned...

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
I recently dined at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, and while my experience was decent overall, it fell short of my expectations in a few areas.
First, let's start with the positives. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was tastefully done, and the seating arrangements were comfortable. The staff members were courteous and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience started off on the right foot.
The menu at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill offered a variety of options, ranging from wood-fired steaks to seafood and poultry dishes. The presentation of the food was visually appealing, and the flavors were generally enjoyable. I appreciated the emphasis on using fresh ingredients and the wood-fired cooking technique, which added a unique touch to the dishes.
However, there were a few areas where Firebirds Wood Fired Grill fell short. One aspect that disappointed me was the inconsistency in the quality of the food. While some dishes were delicious and well-prepared, others fell flat. The flavors and seasoning seemed inconsistent, and some dishes lacked the wow factor that I had hoped for.
Another area of concern was the pricing. The menu prices at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill were on the higher side, which led me to expect a more exceptional dining experience. However, considering the overall experience, I felt that the prices did not necessarily match the value received. While I understand that quality ingredients and preparation come at a cost, I was hoping for a more favorable price-to-quality ratio.
Furthermore, the service, while generally attentive, had a few hiccups. There were instances where my server seemed overwhelmed and took longer to attend to requests. Additionally, the wait time for food delivery was occasionally longer than expected, which affected the overall flow of the dining experience.
In conclusion, my experience at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill was average. The ambiance was pleasant, the staff was friendly, and the menu offered a decent variety of dishes. However, the inconsistency in food quality, higher pricing, and occasional service hiccups prevented me from fully enjoying my dining experience. While I wouldn't discourage others from trying Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, I would recommend managing expectations...
Read moreI have to say I'm a little disappointed in our experience here last night. I had been given a glowing recommendation for this place. It wasn't anything major, just a few little things. I have to say our server, Summer, was great.
It was a Sunday night, so prior to heading over we checked their website for a waitlist option. They had one! We put ourselves on the list and were told we were the only ones, so we drove straight up there.
The entry was packed when we arrived. We told the host that we were on the waitlist. Even though the website said we were the only ones on the list, she told us it would be an hour wait. She was nice enough to suggest we eat in the bar area as it was first come, first served and we accepted that option.
They had plenty of gluten free options for my wife, which was a huge plus.
Our server was quick to take our orders, and was very helpful with my wife's allergies. She came by and checked on us several times during the excessive hour and 10 minute wait for our food. When the food came out, I expressed to my wife that my steak was luke-warm and she said hers was similar, but I was hungry so I started eating.
After only 5 minutes or so, another runner came to the table with our exact same food and seemed shocked that we already had food. I told him my food was cold and I'd be happy to trade it for the literally steaming copy of my steak he had on his plate. He told me he would check if he could do that and then disappeared never to return.
I noticed my wife hadn't touched her side, and realized one of her allergens had made it on the plate. Our server was incredibly quick to resolve that issue once she was alerted.
Overall it was just a bit frustrating to have the website mislead us on the wait time, the food to take over an hour to arrive, the food to not be hot when it arrived, to be ignored when we indicated the food was not hot, and to have had one of the side dishes come prepared improperly. The food tasted good and the server really seemed to do her best to help us out where she could.
Edit: I emailed you screenshots of the wait-list option from your website. It was an option after clicking "reservations" on your home page. I also sent you a screenshot of the text I received confirming my name on...
