Prepare your palates, for I have just unearthed a true gem in the culinary landscape! This establishment is nothing short of a revelation, a vibrant testament to the art of Japanese cuisine that demands your immediate attention.
Let's talk about the stars of the show: the sushi and sashimi! Each piece was an exquisite bite, bursting with freshness and flavor, unequivocally DELICIOUS! And take it from me, for the true connoisseur of oceanic delights, the all-you-can-eat option is an absolute triumph—a journey through a symphony of tastes that you simply must experience. Even if you opt for a more modest selection, the atmosphere alone is worth the visit; it's a wonderfully inviting space, perfect for savoring your meal while enjoying the backdrop of television.
Beyond the plate, the decor is truly stunning, an artful blend of modern elegance with delightful nods to Japanese culture. The inclusion of anime figurines, far from being a mere novelty, felt like a thoughtful, integrated touch that added charm and personality to the ambiance.
And the staff? Oh, the staff! Every single member exemplified true customer service, demonstrating not just efficiency, but genuine warmth and attentiveness. Witnessing their composure and unwavering professionalism, even when faced with challenging patrons, was truly commendable. A special shout-out to our waitress, whose grace under pressure was nothing short of remarkable!
Yes, every delectable dish you see was ordered and devoured on-site by just two of us – primarily, I might add, by yours truly! This is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even left. My family and I will absolutely be returning, eager to dive back into this exceptional...
Read moreWanted to try a AYCE Sushi place in the NE valley since all the best places are all the way in Tempe or Mesa. I had heard of this place and saw very mid or bad reviews and I had to judge for myself. it was on a week day and they had around 6 or 7 tables full but it looked pretty dead because the place is absolute huge.
I have two...lets say recommendations for whoever owns this place. 1. there is a severe lack of waitresses or bus boys or hostesses. There was two girls running the whole thing and I can see they were almost too overwhelmed. If maybe two or three more groups of people would have come in they would completely done for. Perhaps having a manager or a Hostess helping running drinks or clearing tables would have helped changed the experience, We had waited at least 7 minutes to be seated and another 10 minutes to get drinks and another 15 to get food. That's the first thing the second thing is when we got the nigiri the salmon was definitely a little warm, idk if it was sitting out. which for sushi is wild, keep it fish cool would be my recommendation.
Ok now that's out of the way here's the good, its decently priced. We got the rolls and Nigiri special and it was 30 bucks for dinner. The rolls themselves are actually quite good. So the review reflects the many good and bad things about it. I would probably go...
Read moreI went this past Saturday 6th of September 2025. I came in with expecting good sush. I i. I was wrong. I have been to many sushi establishments in AZ.this was by far the worst I been to. My server was very nice took our order for drinks and appetizers , Ice tea tastes like water. This white fish sashimi did not taste good or even seem like fish , more like a white thin cut slab of some white jello sponge we ate a few more maybe a couple of sashimi that came out timely ..after that rolls took forever , fish was not fresh , especially the tuna, tasted as if it been in freezer way too long burn. Anyway I don't complainu h and I was not going to, just pay my bill and enjoy the rest of the day..btw we only stayed like 30min maybe 45 min. Next day I kept thinking about this place and was just going to complain to manager on duty. I called asked for manager and was given whom I thought was a manager and the man would not I identify himself as a manager after I asked him a few times. He said" why do you need to know" I said to talk about my experience. He still would not say if manager or not just said what, at that point I gave up said never mind hence the review I was not going to write. Anyway sad that I can get better sushi at my local Fry's grocery store, but not here. Won't return . I hoped...
