Hardee's — Restaurant in Peoria

Very clean restaurant. Not spotless, because it's in the middle of a shift, but acceptably clean and well-organized. Drinks bar was clean and most service bins/containers were filled and clean.

The person who took my orders was polite and effective.

The sandwiches were very good, especially the mushroom and Swiss cheese burger, which was especially good, particularly since these specialty sandwiches can be poorly made and barely edible at some Hardee's I've visited in the area.

But this one was prince among sandwiches. The two roast beef sandwiches I ordered as companion pieces were good and properly presented - no buns half off the meat, no meat half off the buns, etc.

There were only two staff members - one preparing orders and the other working the counter and the drive-thru station. This explains the 15 min wait from the time I entered the building to when I got my sandwiches. Yay.

All in all a good place for a burger or roast beef sandwich. No other customers inside - though I visited just after early supper - so I felt relaxed and not overwhelmed by too much sensory input.

Keep this restaurant in mind if you're out that way. It's better than most places I've stopped for fast...

The girl who took my order was professional and nice. She greeted me took my order promptly. The cook went outside to smoke and came in on his phone. The issue was that he started to make my food without washing his hands his nails were also extremely long and that’s unprofessional for someone on the grill nails should be short. When I asked him “excuse me sir can you wash you hands before you make my food please” I got silence so I asked again and NOTHING I asked the cashier if he heard me and she called his name “Greg she said can you wash your hands” he said “I heard her” so if that was the case why did I not get a response because that seems to me that he had a problem that I asked him to wash his hands then he kept staring at me afterwards which made me uncomfortable. I’m not sure why he couldn’t acknowledge that I wanted him to wash his hands but that was extremely rude and I won’t be coming back because based off that alone I now feel like he did something to my food since I have diarrhea all...

Went through drive thru. Oreded food and a coffee with two creamers and 3 Splendas. Come to find out. They didn't/ don't put that in for you!! Then, as the passenger in the trying to put these in a scolding hot about full cup of coffee! I burnt myself a few times from it spilling due to being too full and moving while putting in the stuff. Of course I used the spoon or stirrer they didn't give me to mix it. What a joke! Hot coffee WITHOUT creamers or sugar substitute in it already and not given anything to stir it with. My lips, hand, leg and phone did enjoyed hot coffee spilled on them multiple times. Between this and can't they put on the sandwich wrappers what sandwich it is?
