I have given this location at 3600 N University in Peoria IL, more than 1 chance when my order was wrong or an item wasn’t available after 11pm or after midnight. Most of the employees here are very nice which I appreciate. The issue I have is if there are items unavailable after midnight, it should specify it in the app. The one item I ordered in my last order, the 3 piece chicken strips, was not available after midnight but when ordering through the app, it doesn’t say that and it allows you to order it. When I got to the restaurant, I was told the chicken strips are not available after a certain time. I placed my mobile order on 7/8/25 at 1:30am. I was tired, hungry, and I just got off work. This has happened twice and there have been times when my order was wrong. Usually, after the first time, I don’t come back but I like to give people and places a chance and as I mentioned before, most of the employees here that work during those hours are nice and usually helpful in my experience. This time that wasn’t the case. I was told if I wanted a refund, I have to go through the app. The app doesn’t allow me to do a refund. It always says you have to go through the restaurant. At the restaurant they say you have to go through the app or the general manager is the only one that can do a refund, otherwise they offer you a free meal voucher. If the chicken strips are not available after a certain time, it should say that in the app just like the other items that are not available. Since you can’t do a refund through the app, the employees need to know that so that they’ll stop giving customers the wrong information. Read moreThe food was ok however the service in the drive thru was terrible. We had to pull forward and wait for someone to bring our food which wasn't a problem. The problem was with the young man that brought us our food. He was very rude and had a terrible attitude. There were no napkins in the bag so we asked him to bring us some. I also asked if we could get some salt and a pack of mayo. He huffed before walking away. When he finally came back (it took him several minutes) he only had a couple of packs of salt. When I again asked about the napkins and mayo, he huffed again, said he forgot them and walked away. He quickly came back with a handfull of napkins. Then he said that he could not give me a pack of mayo because it costs 40 cents when I asked him "since when does McDonald's charge for a pack of mayo?", he responded with "I don't know it just does" then quickly walked away. I have never had to pay for a pack of mayo before at any McDonald's or any other fast food spot for that matter. I'm not stupid he just didn't want to bring me the mayo. Read moreUsually I don't like to complain, but the service sucked. The cashier got the order wrong. The drinks were right, and some of the food was there. However, we ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the cashier put down "Bacon Qrt Cheese with no pickle". It's a good thing we checked the bag before we left. We also didn't get the extra fry we ordered as well. Also, I've noticed a lot of locations haven't been filling the larger fry containers to fill like they used to. The drive through window screen on the left is still broken; you can see the screen with big black fracture dots.
Restaurant Manager needs to make sure staff communicates and are trained properly. They're nice, but nice doesn't help if your customers have to circle the drive thru more than once to correct their order.
