Salad and Go — Restaurant in Peoria

I love salad and go, I’ve been coming here for about 3 years.I literally come like once a week, about a year ago I saw a review of a post of someone finding a roach or some sort of bug in their salad. After that- I gave up salad and go for like 6 months.. recently I started going again to give it another chance.. when I get my salad I go home and pour it on a big plate and sift thru it before eating because I am paranoid about it! Anyway, went in this morning to get my salad ( it is my second one this week) And when I saw this in my food today my stomach sunk! I literally am SO disappointed this happened because I really really love salad and go but this is just gross.luckily I didn’t eat any of the salad yet cuz of my routine of checking first! I think if you’re going to continue eating there you should totally check your salad throughly before eating it or, if you don’t mind maybe munching on a bug for added protein then go for it. I’m so bummed. I love the Thai salad but I personally don’t think ima be able to go there again and I’d also like a refund hopefully customer service will respond...

Update unfortunately the service has actually got WORSE as well as the food quality! As you can see from the picture, lettuce is wilted, avocado is brown and they almost ALWAYS forget the dressing! This time there was a young teen "playing with lettuce" she was wiggling it in the air and throwing it at another employee face. Hopefully it didn't end up in someone salad. This location is not one I would recommend.

In general, I do love Salad and Go. They have such yummy salads and drinks at a reasonable price. This location is new and has two drive thru (one regular & one for mobile orders) so that is super convenient. I have been there a handful of times and unfortunately the customer service is seriously lacking! But maybe they will work...

I'll give these guys some great advice because I will never have my own salad store to complete with them.... So here it goes... Great idea for a fast food place. But this is where they do the ball in my opinion.... Their salads suck, great quality ingredients but where is the salad that makes me want to go back all the time? They should have 8 or 10 salads, and honestly they might have that many but they are so unforgettable, so 8 salads that hot every type of craving.. ok they don't even have a salad with raisins or grapes, or apples, like hello... Very least you should be able to add extra ingredients, maybe I'm wrong and you all think I'm blind in the mouth but I love salad and would go a couple times a week if they had one I...
