Ridiculous treatment for seeking a remedy. My family ordered a few sandwiches from the app including a Boss sub which had meatballs on it. I immediately received a phone call from the store telling us they had no meatballs. This sandwich was for my wife and all she wanted was the Boss sandwich and didn't want anything else. I asked them to simple cancel that sandwich and we would find something else for my wife to eat. Their response was that they couldn't cancel the sandwich! I then asked them to just cancel the entire order and we would figure something else out. That too was apparently not possible. I didn't understand and wanted to talk to someone in charge to just get my $$ back. No can do! I ended up submitting a complaint to corporate and was contacted by a district manager named Cassandra Freerks who offered to refund my money. Now it seemed like we were getting somewhere. She asked for all my information to process the refund, but in the next sentence told me she already initiated the refund. I was confused and asked her to clarify so we could get this issue resolved and she refuses to answer my question. It has now been a week with 3 e-mail follow ups and still have not heard back from her.
I went from an inconvenienced customer to an irate former customer. Moral of the story, don't use the subway app, don't visit this subway and don't expect customer service from anyone in the company at all. I'm done with these fools and would rather pay a cheaper price for a better sandwich at Panera going forward. Even of the Panera is 3 miles further. This store and the franchisee 2000 foods inc. Is an...
Read moreBeen to this location 50 times at least before throughout the years. But this last time was off the charts horrible. I walk in and was ignored by a male sandwich maker as he finished sweeping the floor. When he was done he put his broom down and put on his plastic gloves without washing his hands first. So the hand that touched the filthy broom handle was tugging on gloves that were going to directly touch my food. This remark isn't about Covid..its about basic health and sanitation. All food was contaminated after this stupidity. But I said nothing....I showed him the mailer coupon (Two 12" subs for $12) I had....as I was paying for the meal another male employee was shown my coupon. 2 drinks. Cookies and the 2 subs came out to be $36.83 total. I asked "How can this be?" and that's when the females condescending attitude came on full force. She accused me of not showing the coupon beforehand with a snarkey tone. She didn't ring up my order correctly either. New total was $24.53. That's a big difference! BTW two of the three employees talked all while my sandwiches were being made about the night before customers, unhappiness and general bad attitude you don't discuss in front of customers. Maybe this is just a post pandemic bad group of employees that need editing. But regardless, I'm going to hit the other subway until I think enough time has gone by to resolve all of this subways many...
Read moreThe subway employee was awesome, working alone on a weekend at midnight he was exceptional... he needs to be paid a few bucks more an hour for what the owner is saving! This young man working alone at midnight on the weekend deserves a 5 Star Rating. The sandwiches were the best in a long time.
Sadly being under staffed was a 30minute Drive-thru experience with a constant 4-5 car back up! (Take a closer look at the drive thru at "In & Out" with fabulous service and there's always 6-10 cars in line all day & all night. Serving 6-10 in minutes, not 1 car every 10 minutes!)
I came by the next day for lunch with hopes of a personal compliment on your guy, only to find the Drive-Thru was closed due to the lack of staff...and not one car in your parking lot!
Get proactive to save your franchise... If you don't up the hourly wage to hire staff, expect to close your doors! One employee won't cut it, eventually your only employee is going to get burned out.
I'm sorry people don't want to work in our world today, but another couple dollars more an hour in hiring staff will pay off in the long run. It'll increase sales volume, & increase cash flow. The store may not get the Net Profit you wished in a normal world, but if you don't, you face the reality of Closing the Doors to your Subway Franchise forever! It's time to get creative to hire and stay a float...Im wishing you tremendous luck...
