Bardi's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Pequannock Township

Very friendly bartender and waitress the evening we went. Good bar type menu. Nothing fancy. Sandwiches, burgers, pizza, salads, some pasta dishes. Prices are fair and in line with most other similar establishements. Good size portions. Cocktails are okay. Not great. It'll take an extra cocktail or two if you're looking for a buzz. Good enough though since the cocktails were tasty. The atmosphere was kinda cool with classic rock memorabilia on the ceiling and walls. Several large screen televisions prodcasting sports. Relaxed, casual dive bar atmosphere. We enjoyed and will likely retun at some point. Only negative part is the service charge on the bill. It's a small charge but that drives me insane when a restaurant charges extra fees. Some call it a convenience fee. All the same though. People don't like to see extra fees other than the mandatory sales tax. Just incorporate it into the cost of the of meal or appetizer if you must squeeze more money from a customer. Other than that annoying fee, we enjoyed and I do recommend the restaurant for good bar...

At first we enjoyed our visit. Food was ok. Steaks very tough. Ice tea tasted like water with a drop of tea. But what was insulting was the check at end, you get a choice to pay cash at a lower price or credit card at a higher price. They have a sign that doesn't have the minimum requirement listed on it. 2022 no one carries cash really. The amount for credit charge was over what visa charges. My cards debit, which I wasn't given the option to use, which is a much smaller fee or no fee. So they rip you off. No where does it say on menu, nor does your server inform you of this before hand. Sign is very unclear. Fee should be built into their prices. We will not return, our first and last time. Our check was 76 but 79 with credit card charge. They still make over 70 dollars. With my husband and I, we go out alot. They lost alot more then a fee with us. Poor business decision. But I think it needs to be investigated here, I will be...

Unfortunately this place used to be great. Now prices are high and the personal, local feel is over controlled by a robot ferret who makes no attempt to get to know his locals and even....well I guess I should keep some things to myself. I will admit to vaping after I was told not too. I was initially given the OK. So when I was suddenly told no that other was weird. I don't know u dude but I've been around long enough to know You have two masters. U still make more at the bar. But u want the restaurant too. Cool. Didn't eat tonight but only truly decent thing I've eaten there in Years is the fried mozzarella. Go open another restaurant let your bar be a bar. You're trying to do both perfectly in one location.
