I dont like to leave poor reviews, but the pizza was just absolutely terrible. Ordered 2 pies with toppings, the pizzas had an odd smell, crust was just not good, cheese seemed low quality or maybe it was old? Kind of like "fake" cheese or cheap frozen pizza cheese. It was kind of translucent with no real stretch. The toppings seemed ok, but everyone who ate the pizza got sick. And the pizzas were expensive! Maybe I ordered on an off night, I don't know, but we won't be back. I don't know what's going on here, we ordered a long time ago and everything was fine. I understand food cost and everything, but don't serve your customers food like that.

The Pizzeria is a very good looking location. It makes you want to stop for pizza and once inside you will crave a cannoli. Surprising when inside, you can see that they have so much to offer. Great looking specaility slices with all kinds of cannolis and other options. I can see all of this , but nobody took the time to provide any kind of welcome. So went about the business of the regular slice for the Pizza Hunters App. The slice was above average and looked great on the plate. I tasted a hint of garlic in the sauce which provided a very good after taste to the slice. I would go back again for the slice.

I love this place. The pizza slices are the best around. In my opinion, nothing beats the chicken marsala slice but every one I've had has been great. The Italian donuts are very good, I recommend the hazelnut. However, I am disappointed in the cannolis twice now. Of all the flavors I've tried (four - for research purposes), the cherry is the best and plain the worst. Go and get a Hawaiian (I know it has a stigma but do it anyway) and the Marsala slice, they nailed it with those.

On our next stop to find the greatest Margherita pie... Stefano's PIzzeria in Pompton Plains, NJ. Another place we've passed by so many times while driving on Route 23. We finally stopped. So, what did we order? We went with their regular Margherita (only small was available), a square Margherita, and this one caught our eye... a Napolitano Square. Let's start with that. Upon opening the box, it looks like a typical square pie with regular mozzarella. We were suspicious.. how exactly was this different than a regular square pie? First bite... and a surprise... vodka sauce. This was very good. It is advertised with buffalo mozzarella but the mozz was no different and very greasy. The crust was very good and thin; you didn't feel 'too awful' after eating a few slices. The grease was a bit much but the vodka sauce was a nice surprise. Next... the regular Margherita. So, we are going to add the square Margherita here as well because...well...they both tasted different. We did scratch our heads on this one but can only conclude that the square was actually a grandma pie that wasn't named that on the menu. The regular Margherita, unfortunately, was bland. It had the right ingredients - fresh mozz, shredded basil, fresh sauce, and a nice thin crispy crust. It just didn't have the taste BUT when we tried the 'Square Margherita' ... homerun Stefano's! Loved it. Same crust size, taste, as the Napolitano, fresh mozz; sauce was fresh and delicious; shredded basil added even more flavor. Honestly, whatever sauce you are using for this pie, just put that on your regular Margherita. Overall, absolutely worth a stop if you're in the Pompton Plains area on Rt. 23 South. A...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — A Slice of Heaven: There’s No Place Like This Pizzeria

I’ve eaten pizza all over the world — New York, Naples, Chicago, LA — but nothing, nothing, comes close to the magic that happens at this pizzeria. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with that intoxicating aroma of wood-fired perfection and fresh herbs that stops you in your tracks. It's like your senses know before your brain does: this place is special.

The crust? A flawless blend of crunch and chew, blistered just right from the oven’s kiss of fire. The sauce? Bright, tangy, and full of depth — you can taste the love and the hours simmered into every spoonful. And the cheese — oh my God, the cheese. Melted to silk, slightly browned on the edges, stretching like a dream with every bite. They don’t skimp on ingredients, and every topping tastes like it was handpicked at the peak of freshness.

But it’s more than just pizza. It’s an experience. The staff make you feel like family — warm, genuine, passionate about what they serve. The vibe is cozy yet electric, like everyone in the room knows they’ve stumbled onto something incredible.

I came for dinner, and I left feeling like I’d found a hidden gem I never want to share… but also can’t shut up about. This isn’t just the best pizza I’ve had — it’s one of the best meals I’ve had, period.

If you’re a pizza lover, this is your pilgrimage spot. If you’re not? One visit, and you will be. There is simply no...

Horrible please read this before going to this place!! The owner and his son are extremely rude I had the worst costumer service ever!! Apparently they only care about the money I had my daughters birthday here and it was my biggest mistake the place isn't the cheapest the food sucks! The portions are very small my guest barley had any food and it took for ever to put a plate on the table!! The son of the owner was so disrespectful to me and my mother that i literally wanted to cancel the event at this place as soon as He gave me attitude And then at the end when I asked if I could take home what was left of the food because obviously we where all still hungry they said no and started to scream at me that they told us that it was a all you can eat table!! Then the owner pretty much called me a liar for telling him no you did not! If all this isn't enough they where also charging me for ugly table clothes that weren't even the color I had asked and assumed i wasn't going to say something about it and plus they wouldn't let me change the tables and I literally had a giant table at a children's birthday party with no space to play or have any games!! terrible this is the worst place you can possibly book!! We are never putting a foot in this...
