Ono Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Perris

Desiree and Floor left me on hold for several minutes, I came into the store while still on hold lmao. Desiree wasn’t even at the register when we walked in so I don’t understand why we were still on hold. Then she started to take walkin orders and Floor then walked away from the second register and STILL DIDNT ANSWER THE PHONE . Finally Desiree answers it after taking a few more people with just one register while Floor is just wondering around with now two people on hold lmao. When it’s just me left in line she finally answered it floor still not doin shii. I hung up on her and told her I was on hold and was wondering how long it was going to take to answer the phone she was just like “um ok” instead of answering, apologizing, or taking any responsibility . Desiree then turned to Floor and said she hung up on the second person on hold laughed and shrugged . So y’all just clear the restaurant before answering the phone? Because when I worked in food it was in the order it comes . If the phone rang before anyone was there they should’ve took the phone order and stopped taking in store orders. I’ve never had this problem at any other ono before . It def seemed to be Desiree’s fault she seems like a witch tbh. Shouldn’t be in customer...

In fairness, I always order the Chicken Katsu here. Even the smaller lunch portion comes with a big scoop of rice - sticky enough to stay in form when you add your choice of sauces - a nice scoop of macaroni salad and a bottom layer of cabbage. Yum !!!! They make the only macaroni salad I like and it is served in a scoop large enough for two to share. In fact, my husband and I always split a meal here and have food left over. Do not miss their Crab Rangoon, though I warn you that it is tasty enough to be addicting. The Katsu sauce goes with everything on my plate and Ono let's you help yourself so you will definitely have your fill even if you like to drown your rice and cabbage in the sauce. Oh, they also have terryaki sauce, hot Chinese mustard, soy sauce, chili sauce .. . . The employees are cheerful and always say welcome as you come through the door. I like that. Never eating here again i came to eat here just as I walked in your 2 cashiers had big faces made to eachother like if by me coming in was going to give them alot of work. I ordered my food and 2 other people got their food who were BEHIND me in line before me? How does that work? And your chef in the back with a hat, smirks at me from the kitchen while im eating, that disturbed me, because why are you looking at me eating with a smirk? Make me think he did something to my food, i didnt eat anymore. Mind I was with my kids. I got food poision the next day. Right now im taking medicine to ease the stomach aches but nah.
