3 times a week I have to go to the dialysis center on yhe other side of the freeway. My husband was hungry after his session so we stopped here to get him some food. I ordered ehat he wanted, an egg and cheese burrito. But, I forgot to tell the cashier to add onions. For an egg and cheese only, I paid $9.16. I remembered about the onion after I placed the order and asked the cashier if she could please have onions added. She said it would be an extra charge. I am sure I was charged for a burrito that would normally have more ingredients than juat cheese and egg, so seriously, you want to charge me extra for onions? She didn't even give me a receipt so I have no idea what she charged me for. This was my first time there, needless to say, it is my last. I normally don't care about paying for extras, coming from owning a restaurant myself. I know everything costs money but come on, charging me extra for what would probably be a spoon size of chopped onion on a burrito that would probably already have had Pico de Gallo or some kind of salsa in it is ridiculous. The only reason I am leaving a 3 star and not 1 is because of the cook. She over heard everything and let me know she would add the onion. To the cashier, I know you were doing your job. But part of the job is keeping customers happy and coming back. I suggest you make better decisions for future client requests. To the owner, you might want to make some changes to the way business is done and speak to your employees. Loosing a customer that could potentially bring in an extra $10 a few times a month was not worth loosing for charging extra for a simple ingredient. It's not like we asked for extra meat or avocado and not want to pay. A simple "freebie" can go a long way with earning someone's business for a long time to come. Word of mouth is powerful and so are...
Read moreSo at first the place looks pretty cool inside a couple of TVs high top tables a decent drink bottle menu and what I could only assume would be above average to great Mexican food since I live in Southern California however that seemed to be further from the truth. When we ordered our food we ordered basic tacos street tacos and carne asada adobada and carnitas the food was cold the second time I went I ordered the exact same thing to see if it may have been a fluke and it wasn't meat was cold the tacos were cold the tortillas were not warmed up but since in my dad were there having a few beers we decided to look past it as we were having a decent time watching football on TV we ordered two shots of patron tequila and when we took the shots we immediately looked at each other and realized they were at least 50/50 water and tequila watered down absolutely disappointing as we paid almost $12 a shot per absolute scam of a business trying to take advantage of atmosphere with no effort into quality highly recommend...
Read moreHow can a Mexican restaurant mess up rolled taquitos? Well, this place did and it reflects a lack of effort. We ordered many taquitos for the family and we were very disappointed. They looked like and tasted stale like the rolled tacos from the frozen food section at any market. They hardly put any guacamole on them and it looked old or they baked the taquitos with the guacamole, either way it's a guacamole fail.
Not only they did not put any effort into it, they were way overpriced. We expected more.
Any decent Mexican restaurant should make their rolled taquitos in their own kitchen and all ingredients should be fresh. We are not...
