If you haven’t been to Yodars Sandwich Shop in Perry, you are seriously missing out! This hidden gem is serving up the absolute best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Every bite is packed with flavor, made fresh, and you can tell they put real love into their food.
But it’s not just the sandwiches that keep me coming back — it’s the people. The staff at Yodars are genuinely some of the friendliest, most down-to-earth folks around. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, they treat you like family the second you walk through the door.
And let’s talk about speed — this place is FAST. Even when they’re busy, they keep things moving without sacrificing quality. Perfect for lunch breaks or when you’re on the go.
If I had one small request, it would be to post a recent menu on Facebook or keep an updated one on Google. It’d be great to check out the latest specials or see what I’m craving before I walk in. 🙌
Otherwise, 10/10 — can’t recommend Yodars enough. Do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich here. You’ll...
Read moreIt's very packaged food. I ordered the California BLT and while it was good enough, it was a bit disconcerting to see them squeeze "avocado spread" out of a plastic bag into a bin like it was actually fresh avocados. I almost didn't order it when I saw that, but went though with it because the tomatoes looked home grown. They then put that on packaged bread. I'm not completely knocking packaged foods by any means, but I do wish there were a few more fresh ingredients for the steep price (about $20 for 2 meals, not including any sides I'll). My mother and I got tickled wondering if the "bacon" pieces on my sandwich was real bacon or just bacon bits. My mom ordered the Cuban which contained their "special sauce." Apparently it was a very barbeque-flavored sauce which was not the flavor you'd typically choose for a Cuban. The bread for that sandwich was bland and rubbery. The seating is tight, the decor is kitschy, and the packaged foods are just... pricey packaged foods apparently... It's a rip off for the price...
Read moreI went to the Yoder’s Sandwich shop in Perry, GA for lunch and ordered a Chicken Salad BLT. After I paid for my order, the owner told the nice lady (who was clearly embarrassed) to lift up the bread so he could see how much chicken salad she put on my sandwich. He then told her that she put too much chicken salad on the sandwich and to take some of that off. He then said, I don’t want to charge him double. After this he said all you need to put is a thin layer on the bread. Needless to say, while eating the sandwich all I tasted was the bread, bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. I must say, when the sandwich is fixed the right way it’s the best Chicken Salad BLT sandwich in...
