I had such a great experience at BBG. I called and made an appointment ahead of time so they knew i was coming. Molly was my consultant throughout my experience. She was sooo accommodating. I had an idea of what i wanted, but she also recommended for me to try on other styles just in case I loved something that i didn’t think i would love. Which in fact, actually happened! Molly pulled a sample, on sale, dress that was absolutely perfect for me. Thought it was a little plain so she found the perfect belt. They were NOT pushy when i told them I did not want a veil. They truly cared about how i felt and my needs. I took my dress back a week before my wedding to get steamed, for free, which was so so nice! My bridesmaids also found their dresses here as well. Molly was also our consultant for bridesmaids dresses. I knew i wanted all bridesmaids to have the same color, but wanted my bridesmaids to choose their dress so they were comfortable. Molly was so attentive to each bridesmaid and made sure that all of my bridesmaids were comfortable and their dress choice complimented each other. During our bridesmaids experience, the girls had to change in a closet. This experience was BEFORE they added a new show room for more space to try on dresses. I’m not sure how the process is now, but I’m glad they expanded their space since then because it was quite small BEFORE they renovated. I cannot begin to express how amazing Bridals by Gilbert was this past weekend. With a party of 14+ (not including two children under the age of 5) they were incredible!! The bride was able to find an amazingly beautiful dress as well as all 7 of her bridesmaids. Not only did we knock out the bridesmaids but we also found perfect dresses for the two little flower girls. As a mother of 2, I know how stressful it can be to go shopping at Walmart much less an elegant WEDDING dress shop! ( I was seriously terrified the night before thinking of how bad things could go.) Most importantly though, I felt completely comfortable with both of my girls being there with me. They were able to try on a couple of dresses and felt like princesses. I want to give a huge thank you to the staff for being patient, but most importantly for making my sisters wedding dress shopping an experience that she will remember for the rest...

Website said they were open. I drove from Macon to Perry but they were closed during what was supposed to be their business hours. We finally got an appointment a week later. The consultant was rude to my fellow bridesmaid and then she was snotty to me. She also put our bride in a dress way over budget- which of course she fell in love with but could not afford. She also promised that the in budget dress that was her second choice could be ready in time. But after our appointment said would take several months and they could not have it ready in time. The whole appointment was a waste of time. We went to Carrie's Bridal and the consultant was super friendly, took her time, stayed in budget, and made the whole experience fun and exciting. My friend bought her gown the same day from Carrie's. Plus the gown is even more beautiful than the overpriced one...
