Maddie & Bella Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Perrysburg

Moved into town last week and of course had to try out this popular little coffee shop I had been hearing so much about. The atmosphere is very cute with a modern flair, and in an adorable location. I went at 9am on a Thursday morning and they were very busy...seemed slightly understaffed. The girls who worked there were friendly, and it was easy to see that they they were working as fast as they could. I still ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes for a to-go mocha and breakfast sandwich, making me slightly late to work. This probably would have annoyed me more if the food wasn't so good, and also now that I know how busy they get in the morning, I'll just leave a little sooner. Definitely worth getting up and extra 10 minutes early. I got their lavender mocha which was truly amazing (you gotta try it!) , an egg and cheese buicut with "bacon jam" which was good, but I wish the bacon jam had more actual bacon. It was mostly onions, and I definitely got more of an onion flavor than bacon....but it was still delicious. Then finally I got their dragon fruit chia pudding, which truthfully I wasn't a big fan of (possibly the hemp hearts that were in it that gave it a strange aftertaste) but everyone has different taste buds, and I'm sure someone else would love it as the I ingredients were fresh and colorful. All in all a very nice experience. Strongly reccomend, just dont go in a rush and be prepared to pay higher prices for higher quality...

They get very busy very quickly and I can see why. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Coffee was so good, we got a buckeye mocha and omg the peanut butter taste was so yummy. I've had coffees from other places that are supposed to have a peanut butter flavor to it and it's always a very faint flavor. Not this time, it was so rich and you can definitely taste it, heaven!! Location is a little difficult to find if you don't know where to go. Our gps tried to get us to go the wrong way down a one way street so keep an eye out. Shouldn't be too hard to spot tho, as they have customers sitting on their patio enjoying themselves. It's about 2 buildings away from the stop light on the left side. So very worth it. They have a tv that shows a 24hr surveillance of adorable panda bears. If you're near by it's definitely...

I love the coffee and food, but every time we have to wait forever, the four baristas were around talking when we walked in no hello, or welcome in. Then when a fifth person came in they were too busy making food and drink for each other it took almost 30 minutes for two toasts. With having a fully staffed floor like that I would just expect more a more friendly atmosphere not three baristas gossiping while one person makes all the food in the back by themselves. As well as a barista went on break and got their food before we were served and she was going on break way after we were waiting...
