City Tavern — Restaurant in Perryville

After reading some of the reviews I was looking for a good place to have breakfast. The food was good; however, we were shortchanged on our order. We received a cheap substitute on one of the items and I wanted to know why. I was not upset, just curious and figured there was probably some logical explanation. When the waitress informed the manager/owner of our question, he copped an attitude and refused to come over and answer our question. Furthermore, he was only sitting 10 feet away and not busy. This leads me to believe that the logical explanation was that this restaurant is greedy and looks at all possible options to make more money. I have eaten at many different restaurants over the years, and this is the most pathetic management I have ever dealt with. Stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We got the ham and egg C.T. breakfast and a couple bloody mary's. They were extremely busy. The staff was running like crazy but so nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good and even with how busy they were the waitress made it a point to check on us. The staff made the place a very nice comfortable laid back atmosphere, like all were welcome. I ordered food on door dash, both the menu and pick showed the sandwich with fries but when I got the sandwich it did not have fries. I called the restaurant and they said no it doesn't come with fries and when I told them the menu says it does and the picture showed the sandwich with fries. They said oh well we will change that....
