Whirl-A-Burger — Restaurant in Perryville

We ordered two Whir-A-Burgers and asked for condiments to be on the side a drink and a malt.Yes there is a wait period. When we received our order and looked in the bag and opened the burger container to our surprise we saw only a bun and a piece of meat No lettuce, no tomato, no pickle and no onion and no mustard and tomato ketchup. Going back to the pickup window and asking where was the veggies were we were told the were. They. Were under the white paper under the bun. To me condiments are salt, pepper mustard and ketchup not veggies. Then after learning where the veggies where. I had to ask for the condiments. The man was very direct and vague and not seemingly understanding. I am not a very particular person but bad service is bad service. The burgers and fries were cold probably because the malt was made last and burgers were made first. After reading the various reviews and how wonderful the service and food was makes me wonder what happened to us. I tried to call in a pickup order but they no longer take orders over the phone. So I drove over to place my order. There is parking available in the back. I walked to the window, placed my order very quickly. Ask how long and she said 5-7 minutes. Set me a 7 minute timer on my phone and went and set in my car. I could have set and waited on the outside bench or tables they provided but it was a little rainy. I ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, 2 reg fries and a small vanilla malt shake. Only 21.00 ! Which was awesome! When my timer went off I walked back to the pickup window and she was putting everything in a bag for me so PERFECT timing. Ordered the Bacon Double Cheese Burger with a side of curly fries. This was one of the best burgers I've had in years. Definitely the best burger I've ever had in Perryville. Was cooked great. Had a good sear on the patties yet they were still tender and juicy. Toasted bun was great. Curly fries were great. All around experience was good. Just have to be prepared to wait.
