The quality of this place has really gone down hill. My family and i have been eating here since it first opened, and it was great. However now, it leaves much to be desired. The pollo a la brasa, the Peruvian chicken that is their highest seller, has degraded inmensely. Now you are lucky if you get a fully coocked chicken. The chicken you get now is red and raw inside, which is a huge health hazard. Myself and members of my family and friends brought this to their attention various times, but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. The fries are the absolute worst. They are soggy and stale, the fries has never been their strong suit, but it has now gotten to the point that they are inedible. The fried rice is old and hard, it hurts your mouth when you eat it and seems to be reheated. To top it all off the service is horrendous. The way they treat their customers with such indifference and disrespect is astonishing. Good luck getting an order in without someone being extremely rude and off-putting. 3/4 of their staff don't speak or barely speak any English as well. This place is also always dirty, and seems extremely unsanitary. It truly is disgusting and i hope that if you value your health and enjoy good food, do not eat here. I know people who have gotten sick from eating here and so have i and it is just not worth it. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this place, it is a disgrace to Peruvian cuisine because Peruvian cuisine is amazing and this place really brings it down. They have gotten too big and it has gotten to their heads, which is why they no longer care about treating their customers well and providing...
Read moreHorrible experience services is bad, bad, bad and don’t you dear complaint. Came here for a second time in hope the service improved and had the same results as the first time but worst. Is lunch time the only consumer in the Restaurant is me and order 1/4 Chicken and they have me waiting close to 10min. When said I couldn’t wait any longer and explained this not the first time they have me waiting. They older guy exploded with a sarcasm and poor attitude letting me know pretty much that I am not the only customer and that the cook is cooking for others too. The first time I went to eat in the restaurant God is my witness they had my waiting in between taking the order and bringing it to me closes to two hours and one of the orders where completely wrong and the explanation was that since they had mess up on the actual order and it takes time to cook that I should eat that. I thought that was wrong but did not argue since just want to eat and get out of there. Well after finishing the meal I asked for the check and guess what right, waited another 1/2 to pay the bill. And, yet I was respectful about it. Today I came for a quick take out and got the same results plus the aggravation of who I believe is the business owner. If you come to eat and don’t care about anything else and yet are ready to wait be my guest the food is fair BUT pricey. However, as a consumer if you like to be treated with dignity and respect and you value your time. This is definitely not a...
Read moreOkay, I have to say it Se Salio El Pollo is incredible. This is easily some of the juiciest, most flavorful chicken I’ve ever had in the US, I’m from Paraguay, and this chicken instantly reminded me of home. The moment you bite into it, you taste that smoky, rich flavor and the meat is so tender and juicy that it literally melts in your mouth. I was honestly amazed, es una maravilla.
The milanesa? Perfection. Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with that flavor that just makes you smile with every bite. And the empanadas, just wow. Baked, not fried, and you can tell they use real, quality chicken inside, both white and dark meat, perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. They feel homemade in the best, most authentic way.
They also give you so many sauces, and they are so good. Like, every sauce was a win. Dipping, pouring, tasting, pure happiness.
On top of the amazing food, the service was wonderful. The staff is friendly and warm, and the pricing is honestly very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Everything tasted fresh, intentional, and made with love.
You can tell the chef knows exactly what they're doing, this is food made with pride, tradition, and flavor. If you love beautifully seasoned, juicy chicken and real Latin comfort food, you need to come here. ¡De verdad, delicioso!
I can’t recommend this place enough, five stars, easily. I will definitely be coming back again and...
