My husband and I were looking for a place to eat before watching fireworks in Perth Amboy. We were immediately drawn to the beautiful, adorned Katrina ladies decorating the windows. We were greeted by such a heartwarming family and were immediately impressed with the themed décor and artistic accents of the “Day of the Dead.”
We enjoyed the fresh, authentic delicious food. The salsa, chips, and guacamole are all made on site with their special recipe. The service was outstanding. They were attentive, courteous, and polite; they truly cater to their guests. Arturo, Margarita and little Amanda made us feel like VIPs. They recognized us as “the first Americanos” to visit their restaurant and presented us with a beautiful handmade plate displaying the vibrant colors of their country, Mexico. This memorable gift has a special place in our home and will always be a reminder of our wonderful, generous friends and the delicious meal we enjoyed that evening.
