Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Peru

While I usually visit this restaurant as part of a group, that's my bad. It's a great place for a casual meal, for lunch or dinner. The prices are comparable to similar places like Ruby Tuesday's, Chili's, or Applebee's. So glad that Peru has a spot like this, as we're a small town that has a hard time keeping such places going.

That said, the food is tasty, with an extensive selection. The ability to build a burger to your liking is awesome. The sauces are quite flavorful - in fact, for me, they are pretty spicy and I have to ask for plain condiments.

I do recommend trying the fish tacos - again, for me, the sauce that comes with it is spice and I have to ask for normal tartar sauce, but if you like hotter spices, give it a try. The burgers are great, the chicken dishes are generally well-prepped but occasionally overcooked. Mixing your own soft drinks is a lot of fun, especially for the younger set.

Service is usually stellar. When you come with a group, that can be a problem, but it hasn't been so for this restaurant. I highly recommend you give them a try for your next birthday or anniversary or other special event gathering. They...

I've lived in Peru now going on 10 years and today was the first time I had been to Beef 'o' Brady's. First off let me say that the service and the staff there seem to be exceptional. Evidently my ordering coffee at lunch time seems to have been an exception but the waitress went out of her way to make me a fresh pot and make sure that I had refill whenever I needed. Not sure what type of coffee they use but it was very good. I ordered the fried pickle chips along with fish and chips for my lunch. The pickle chips were really good very lightly coated and flavorful. The chips and cod fish although they were well seasoned and cooked to a T we're just slightly greasy but there again it's fish and chips. Got a piece of cheesecake for dessert and was very satisfied overall. Next time we'll have to try something a little less oily. I think if you make this your stop for a bite to eat you won't be disappointed in any way...

The food was great! The service left a lot to be desired. We met a friend and she was already there. She stated she had ordered a drink from the bar and had been waiting for 10 minutes before we got there. She finally got her drink after we arrived. We then ordered 3 ice waters and a Sprite. That took another 10-15 minutes. Thankfully we knew what we wanted to eat or hard telling how long we'd have to wait to order. We got our food in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious. My daughter needed a refill on her drink and I had to wave down our server because she never came back to our table after bringing our food. Then we got 2 to go boxes and she brought our checks.
